Befur and After

First visit to this pet grooming place with my Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier Riley, so pleased with the service wanted a bear cut for my baby & for the first time he actually actually looked the way I expected him to. My Wheaten who just turned a year old has been going to the same groomer since we got him @ 10 weeks old, never have they cut him the way I wanted, my previous groomer always cut him they way that was easier for her not the way I wanted him to look, my baby will never ever, go to any other groomer. Sol glad we found Befur & After, so pleased with the service.

We took our sheltie there for grooming on a Monday and they did a great job. Took our shepherd mix there on Wednesday and didn’t look like anything had been done. One of their «dog bathers» had groomed her and did a terrible job. Took her back and they cleaned her up, so ok. Next time we took our sheltie, I guess one of their «bathers» got ahold of her again cause she looked worse than when I dropped her off. They used a shampoo that removed a lot of her undercoat, thank God, cause she was shedding everywhere! But they did little else, and she just looked like a complete ragamuffin because they did nothing at all the overcoat. She just looked so ragged — worst shes ever looked, and she’s a cute little pure-​bred sheltie. I wish I could go there because it’s about a 45 second drive from our home, but I’m not wasting any more money there. Make sure you know your groomer and ask for them by name. I will not return.

The groomers at befur and after are the only people I would ever trust with my pets. My dog is very nervous and they always have two people work with him, one to comfort him, and one to groom him. You do not see this kindness in many grooming shops. They have even clipped my cats nails with out stressing him out. If you’re looking for a kind, affordable, and reliable groomer, this is the place!

No stars! After reading the reviews I decided to try this groomer. I usually groom my two older dogs myself but i decided to take them to a «professional» because we are in the process of moving and all my supplies are packed for the move.
I called to see about availability and price. I was told they could groom my dogs on Saturday and I should bring my dogs in at 12:00. When I arrived there were several other barking dogs in kernels. I wish I had left then! I was told the dogs would be ready around 3:00. I heard nothing fom them and I called at 4:00. A young man told me my dogs had just been bathed and blown out and were next to be cut and they should be ready in an hour. What?! Why did I bring them in at noon?
Waited another hour and a half – 5:30 p.m. – called back and the girl who answered the phone said the dogs hadn’t been cut, «but they were next». What?! I told her I was coming to pick them up and she went to get the groomer on the phone. The groomer told me that they only work on the dogs in short time periods «so the dogs aren’t stressed out». «Then they can nap between». I told her my dogs are stressed out by being kept in a kennel for 5 hours with barking dogs all around them!!! I’m sure most dogs would be. Then the truth came out, she said she had 22 dogs through there today! I said why did you tell me to bring mine? This groomer obviously can not handle that many dogs and really are not all that concerned with the stress on the pets. It appears it is all about moving through as many dogs as they can regardless of the stress on the pets.
I picked up my dogs – it was 5:50 pm and they had only been washed and blown dry after all that time – 5 hours and 50 minutes. When they came in my home they each drank water like crazy – were they given water there?
Don’t take your pets to this groomer!!!

Took my older large dog to be groomed today. I was very pleased how he was treated and taken care of. Usually he seems very skiddish and tired after being groomed, he seemed very relaxed when I picked him up today. I have found a perfect place to take my dogs from now on.

I took my husky today as a walk in. They did a great job with her. She looks beautiful!!! Thank you! I will definitely take her again.

I am a very happy customer. Befur and After has done a great job with both of my labradoodles every time we visit. They offer excellent service, fair prices, a clean facility and I love all the pictures they post on their Facebook page. I drive a little further to come here but its worth the ride.

Carly did a fantastic job with our dog Riley (Shih Tzu) and was able to work him in on what I’m sure was a busy pre-​holiday weekend for her. The atmosphere is soothing and very calming for her clients and she’s so loving and patient with my little diva! If you’re looking for a caring, experienced groomer then look no further; she will not disappoint!

So went off reviews and decided to go here. Not sure if it was a 1 time thing or what. I was happy I could call and get in same day.
Told them to trim nails, clean ears. Neither of which were completed. Haircut was avg. some hair in front of eyes were not trimmed and dog could barely see.
Dog is a Maltease and just getting normal groom job.

Let me start by saying that I called and asked if they could please squeeze in my dog as a new client today. They were so nice and said no problem.
The location is super clean. The staff was sooo nice and understanding of my situation today.
They got Toby (Maltipoo) finished in record time and he looked sooo cute.

Excellent service! I brought my sheepdog in about 1 month past her normal cut and the owner did a fantastic job at a great price. I would definitely recommend this groomer if you really care about getting a quality hair cut for you mutt!

There were a couple of dogs barking but it was a completely welcome and calm environment for me and my dogs to walk into. Carly was warm and loving, kept my dogs together so they felt safe and did a superb job with them. The even sent me cute befur and after pictures of my dogs. I’m not sure they wanted to leave. Definitely a keeper

Carly was incredibility awesome with our golden doodle! He was a mess and she really showed that she cared and wanted to make him look good. We brought him in on a Saturday afternoon and he was so matted and messy that it took the entire afternoon and she told she would stay late into the night to finish but we said we’ll bring him back the next day. He looked fantastic when he was done! We took our dog to other groomers from the big box stores to other small shops and Befur and After did the best job! We also felt that Carly cared about the quality of work and about our dog.
We will be taking our dog here regularly!

Carly, did an amazing job with Chanel. She was very informative about what she could do to fix all my concerns with my doxiepoo. This was Chanels BEST Grooming EVER in the 4 years that I have been getting her professionally groomed. I will definitely be back!!!

Befur and After did a wonderful job with my puppy’s hair cut. The groomer was professional and very sweet. We will be back!
