Delicious! I was going to go to Hoboken but it was closed so I stumbled upon Sunny’s via Unilocal.I got what i normally get at bagel places — tuna on asiago. This quaint little place really didn’t disappoint. The girl working there was very helpful and she could tell it was my first time there. Don’t be discouraged by the dated décor — it had no influence over my delicious bagel. I’ll definitely be coming back the next time I have my tuna bagel craving.

Stopped by early on Memorial Day. Picked up half a dozen bagels and some regular cream cheese. The everything bagel was AWESOME, so good my girlfriend and I HAD to try the rest ;). I’ll definitely be back.

Only two workers and the wait is not worth it also they will mess up your order so check it if you get in to go. The café con Leche is good but not worth another trip can make it at home

Very tasty, and affordable, little joint to grab a breakfast wrap. The sandwiches looked good too, but didnt have a chance to try anything else.

Quick lunch at Sunny’s was pleasing, but the pork arepas wasn’t finely shredded, and the sauce was a bit weak. Others were enjoying a bargain $ 8 lox/cream cheese/bagel platter which I’ll try next time.

I decided to stop by for lunch due to having a late start today. This was my first time visiting and the staff was very friendly. Their menu has many different options to choose from whether you decide to have a sandwich for lunch or a bagel for brunch because breakfast is served all day. Today I decided to try the Bacon egg and cheese Arepa with spicy avocado sauce along with a café con Leche. I really appreciated the fact that the chef in the back came to the front counter to ask me about any allergens that I might have toward any items used to make my sandwich. Once they completed my order, they kindly came to the front counter and showed me my food to ask if it was how I wanted it before they closed the box for me to take it on the go. Great customer service, great food, equals a happy customer and I most definitely will come back again!!!

I stopped at Starbucks for coffee, but I can’t stand their prepackaged breakfast sandwiches and bagels. I saw Sunny’s and decided to take a chance. I am so glad I did! There’s nothing remarkable about the décor, but don’t let that deter you. All of the emphasis is on the food. This is hands down the best bagel I’ve ever had! I had an everything bagel toasted with cream cheese. It was so fresh and flavorful. They added the perfect amount of cream cheese. I will definitely be returning whenever I need a bagel fix, and I’d like to come back and try the coffee and arepas too.

Can’t judge too much but I ordered an everything bagel and it was very fresh and good. I can tell it was baked in house or at least that day. The plates I seen coming out omelette and such looked good cooked to order. The coffee was good not high tech but the hazelnut they sold was great. I could have drank it straight no cream of sugar. Interior is not like walking into a panera and its just 1 or 2 ladies Price $ 4 for bagel and coffee is ok no complaints

Let me set the mood. I’ve been sick for the past 24 hours. My sister suggests a bagel. We drive, for what seems like 45 minutes, to get a bagel. We pull up to what appears to be a sketchy shopping center and next to Once Upon a Baby is Sunny’s Deli. Once we wandered in, I knew it was a great decision. The menu is varied with all deliciousness that can be put on a bagel. I had the onion bagel that was toasted to perfection. The sister ordered the everything bagel bagel. I had a bite of it — amazing. You shouldn’t be sketched out by the lack of curb appeal. Amazing.

Swung by here one morning because it was close by and because, hello, Venezuelan bagel shop and deli?!? Sold. Was extra pleasantly surprised to find that PORKROLL was a meat option. Sure, they called it Taylor Ham(Sunny is from Newark, that’s what they call it there), but I can let that slide as long as I actually get some. And the everything bagel was really good too. Certainly among the best I’ve had in Georgia thus far.

Best bagels in the ATL area. Forget Goldbergs, Einstein’s etc. toppings on both sides of bagel and always fresh. Sandwiches are delish with the pastrami & Swiss being the MVP. Moved from NYC35 years ago and finally found the corner bagel shop I remember.

Finally dropped in for lunch. Ordered the chicken and avocado arepa. It was DELICIOUS. It took about 15 minutes to prepare but it was worth it. Everything was cooked perfectly and there was the right amount of chicken and other veggies on it! It actually filled me up! Definitely stopping by again soon to try the coffee!

This place is really a hidden gem on Barrett parkway. My favorite item on their menu is the pastrami on a everything bagel with an iced coffee. The coffee here is delicious and creamy. Great spot for breakfast or lunch. They have a variety of Latin cuisine on their menu not only bagels and breakfast sandwiches. The arepas are delicious and huge! The empanadas(Venezuelan style) are tasty as well. The sauce that comes with the empanadas are phenomenal. If your in a rush you can call your order in and it’ll be ready for pick up which I recommend because sometimes the wait is just too long if you are on the go. Good service and great food. They can be a touch too pricey but defiantly doable.

the hubs and i spent part of the week here while we house-hunted, and i was delighted to find this place near our hotel. cons: it takes them a bit to prepare your order pro: it takes them bit to prepare your order because the food is fresh, and made with love, and amazing – not stale and premade and stored under a heat lamp. our hotel offered free breakfast, but we still walked over here, and had a super yummy breakfast, we gladly would pay for good food than settle for coughed on by hotel guest food(i did not actually witness any hotel guest cough at the buffet line, but in my mind it could happen, and probably does pretty regularly.) go here, be laid back, order your food, wait, and then enjoy.

I have had this place bookmarked for awhile but never got around to coming here until last Saturday. I was at the Marietta Square Farmers Market with my family and we decided to go get some bagels. The bagels were so fresh and chewy, just they way we like them and the cream cheese was flavorful. There was the perfect amount of cream cheese on the bagels. We will definitely be back and will try some Venezuelan food.

Stopped here for lunch recently and was not disappointed. I had the Garlic Chicken Sandwich on a Garlic Bagel — Can you tell I love garlic? The bagel was exceptionally fresh and tender. The chicken tasted like it had been cooked rotisserie style and was thickly sliced, moist, and flavorful. The veggies were also fresh and crisp. I ordered it with a side of fries and have to say I was really surprised by them. How can fries be surprising?!? Well, they were cooked so perfectly and they were not greasy at all. Even though they weren’t seasoned with anything they were very good — light and tender. I ordered a Café con Leche(espresso with milk) and I was not a fan. First, there is a way of preparing espresso where you can caramelize the sugar, and if it is done properly it can provide a unique and smooth flavor to the coffee. However, when it is not done properly it takes on a scorched bitter taste — and that is what I received. Additionally, the coffee was served so HOT! HOT! HOT! that I burned my tongue and roof of my mooth terribly — and that was after letting the coffee sit for at least 20 minutes. It was served in a styrofoam cup which kept the heat in, but after 20 minutes for it to still be that flaming hot was ridiculous. I felt like the woman who sued McDonald’s for serving the scalding coffee in the 80’s… Youch! Service was friendly and quick. Count on around $ 10 for lunch and a drink. I was planning on getting an empanada but was stuffed by the time I finished my lunch. I will definitely be back and will try the empanadas and arepas next time.

So, I’m gonna tell you a SECRET. It’s not really about the bagels that are so fresh that you’ll think they are made on premises. It’s not about the incredibly friendly staff that should teach courses in customer service. Noris and Jesus were wonderful! Ready for the BIGSECRET? This spot is a secret SPANISHFOODPARADISE!!! Yes!!! In Kennesaw! In COBBCOUNTY! I’m still shell shocked. It’s HIDING behind the moniker Sunny’s Bagels– why, I do not know. Maybe so as not to scare off the typical Cobb Starbucks(next door) patrons? While ALL of ATL inside 285 is losing its’ collective mind right now over arepas, and waiting in ridiculous lines for our entire lunch breaks down at the Curb Market for the best ones, here’s this sweet, little, unassuming spot making them .one, with any ingredients you like, and they are too plentiful for one person. Don’t even think about not having the spicy avocado sauce! They also do empanadas(baked and fried), tequenos, and ALL sorts of Cuban sandwiches! I can’t say enough. Maybe I’ve said too much. I don’t want ALL of you here, then I’ll have to wait– or push you outta the way!!!
