Great salon. I really like Aveda products and don’t want to go anywhere else for color. Staff very good. Drinks/​snacks nice. Washing with the head massage is wonderful. Highly recommend this place.

Fantastic experience, from the amazing haircut and highlights from Jen to the great pedicure, this place understands customer service and takes it to a new level. I’m calling this my new favorite place to hang out!

I used Salon Secret Spa for my wedding day hair and make up services. The salon sent a team to my parents house in Kennett to do hair and make up for myself, bridesmaids and mom! I was blown away by the incredible job they did. I had 11 girls in my bridal party and every single girl loved both their hair and make up and felt completely confident the day of. I wouldn’t normally think that I look pretty, but as soon as they were finished I texted my fiancé and told him how pretty I thought I looked. They listened to everything that I said and did exactly what I wanted. The day could not have been more perfect they were so much fun to work with and so accommodating to everyone’s needs. I would recommend them a million times over with how professional they were!

I wanted to wait to write this review until everything was said and done– I have been going to this salon for years and it consistently delivers.
It is under new ownership, and the changes are evident. Everything from the décor to the stylists have had a major facelift– the atmosphere is professional and welcoming.
Ever since I was younger, I felt uncomfortable getting my hair done by ANYONE. It was sacred; since I started going to Salon Secrets, I can book an appointment with ANY stylist and know that they are going to take care of me. Each stylist is required to keep up with ongoing cosmetology education, and all have been trained by the best. They consistently know the styles that are in fashion and they take their time to take details into account.
My last visit here, I was welcomed with a glass of Pinot Grigio (who doesn’t love wine when they are relaxing?) — they saw me promptly and got to work. My hair needed a total do-​over. It was red, and ugly; Nicole Cosenzo took amazing care of me– she stripped it of the color, did an all over color and brought me back to a beautiful brown with some gold tones. I thought it would be impossible, but she made it happen.
All of the other services offered here are great as well. The estheticians are phenomenal with detail when it comes to waxing– again, I can book an appointment with any esthetician and I know that they will look awesome. Express and spa pedicures are heavenly, and the manicurists are the best in the area.
The only qualm for me is that it is a bit pricey– but I am a young professional. For the quality of service that you receive here it is worth every penny…
They also have a cute high-​end boutique that you can shop around in before, during and after your appointments. They feature top name brands like Big Buddah, Shiraleah, Hale Bob, Susana Monaco etc. It is the perfect place to pick up an accessory gift or something beautiful for yourself. Again, prices are more expensive, but the brands are designer.
The products they sell are standard Aveda products. Anything you would need from travel sizes to extra large shampoos, you can find it.
The best part of the salon is the staff, everyone is so welcoming, friendly, and eager to please. Definitely stop by!

I think they do a great job with my hair and the girls are friendly to me, however I do think it’s a little pricey. I remain going there because I found a great hairdresser and I like Aveda, but I do not go as much as I would like to because of the cost.

They do a great job but you can tell some of the girls are not very friendly. The atmosphere needs to be a bit more inviting. However they have really gotten great eyebrows down and I know I can trust them to take care of my eyebrows! Probably the only place I can really trust with that.

Great experience! I took my out of town guest and we both had full body massages and mani/​pedis. They were ready for us as soon as we arrived, the staff was pleasant and professional and the environment was clean and well presented.
We also did some shopping in the little boutique area. A very pleasant experience and we will certainly go back.

I booked an appointment at Salon Secrets for eyelash extensions. I had a consult earlier in the week and booked an appointment for first thing on Saturday morning (8 AM). I revived a confirmation text earlier in the week confirming my appointment. I sit in the salon for ten minutes before a girl (I’m assuming a manger) comes out to tell me the technician was not coming in today and my appointment was mis-​booked. After all the confirmations I was extremely disappointed. The salon apologized, which was nice, but certainly not a solution. Needless to say, I will not be coming back, and would not recommend this salon to others.

First of all this is an Aveda salon, which means they use all Aveda products. I personally can’t stand Aveda, the nail polish always chips within hours of drying and all the hair products smell like a little old man’s house. I didn’t know this was an Aveda salon prior to my appointment.
I just needed a simple haircut. However, I have limp straight hair that needs good layering to give it body. I explained exactly what I wanted, but the stylist fell short. Wasn’t terribly impressed, and she breezed through it… cost $ 60…this is the first salon I’ve tried around here, I will definitely be looking for a new spot.
