Established in 1989.

Autobahn Auto Wash started as a stand alone full service car wash in 1989. After years of success, the dream of expanding into a one stop shop became a reality. The detail and lube center were added on in 1997 and the Autobahn Auto Care Center was born. The high standard of quality and service has always been our top priority, through hard work and dedication this has allowed us to become Tri Cities premier one stop shop!

Ok, I’m going to update my review. Previous one was after first experience and now that I have used them a few more times I am not happy.
It’s not that the work isn’t good. It’s that it’s INSANE that it takes 4+ hours to do an «interior detail». That when you book an appointment they don’t keep it. And the employees the last few times have had a MAJOR attitude problem.
I’ve lived in LA for 14 years and used to get a FULL detail once a month. It would take then 2 hours, I drop off my car any time of day, walk to starbucks and then 2 hours later, go pick up car. This is with a full wash, clay bar, wax and interior detail.
This place, you have to make an appointment and then they can’t even guarantee that an «interior detail» will be done within 4 hours. This is CRAZY I don’t have time to be sitting around for 4 hours waiting for my car.

I got the $ 10 car wash which is clean and wax. My car had a bunch of bird poo on it and was pretty dirty. The body was very clean and shiny. Employees were very nice. Only reason I’m not giving a 5 star was my passenger windows looked a little like wax just got spread around. Other then that, it was great!

We bought the $ 16 Car Wash. It’s the most you could get without them getting inside the vehicle. We brought the truck pretty dirty! Having just relocated from Western Washington and birds that decided to poop on our truck & I was side eyeing quite a few spots! I figured at least this would give me a good feeling about how well they did and if it was worth the money.
As soon as I bought the car wash they got to the prep work/​prewash. They work fast and thorough. I went through the carwash and when I got out they were ready to do my tires and dry it off.
Everybody had a great attitude and my car and tires were spotless! I got out of the truck and inspected the entire vehicle. It’s nice to find a place that does a quality job.
They do accept cash tips although never brought it up. I just saw where they were accepted as a very end of the wash. I wasn’t expecting to go through a carwash so I hadn’t brought any cash and wished I had.

Took my car here after I was caught in a windstorm. There was dirt every where! Autobahn unfortunately did not remove the dirt, they just pressure washed and blew it further into the engine and electrical components of my vehicle. I couldn’t even roll the window down when I went to drive it away. Yes the outside looked clean, but for $ 200 it better! So far its taken about $ 2000 to repair what they’ve done.

I came here to wash a rental car before turning it in. «Just the basics» was $ 8, but well worth it. A REAL HUMAN sprays off your car before you go in the dive through. And at the end, REAL HUMANS towel dry off your car. (Wonder if they do this when the weather is FREEZING outside…)
If you paid for a car wash, you can go to the vacuums and get a free vacuum, but it’s do it yourself. DIdn’t gt this option.
Don’t drive your RV through here, not big enough.

I’m writing this review as a customer of their oil change services. They seem reliable and honest. I was referred to them from a local shop that did an alignment on my vehicle. They recommend «up-​sell» products like other oil change places such as air filters and windshield wipers. During the oil change the technician noticed that the undercar /​engine splash shield was loose and one of the bolts to secure it was missing. He fixed it at no charge. They provide a free car wash with every oil change which is a nice bonus. I also like to support a local business that supports their community organizations as well. Autobahn has been doing complimentary oil changes for the local Boys and Girls club for years and I commend them for that.

I have always had great results here but the last few times I have went, my car doesn’t even get clean. I also had them hand wax it and was charged double what their price board says. It’s a small passenger car. What gives?

Waaaay better than Mister Car Wash — I’m an Autobahn convert! At Mister Car Wash, I spent most of my time waiting in line, then my car was rushed through, and didn’t get fully cleaned. At Autobahn, the line was much shorter, but I was there longer. The reason it took longer is that they took the time to actually clean my car. For the $ 26 deluxe wash plus, they spent minutes before the machine thoroughly scrubbing the bugs and grime away, leaving my car looking clean. Then they took it into the shop and spent more than 10 minutes blowing dirt out of the cracks and crevices, vacuuming under the floor mats, finding things that Mister would have left behind.
Conclusion: Autobahn is a few $ more, and takes a few more minutes, but is well worth it!

They are careful and do a good job. For about $ 30 a month I get unlimited car washes and good service. They towel dry my car and even work when it is very cold outside. I am impressed with them.

This place is awesome. They’ve managed to make dozens of scratches and scuffs disappear on two of my cars. They didn’t even charge me one time because it only took a minute.
Their car wash is the best in Kennewick. There’s always hot 20– something year olds to take care of you and… who am I kidding? That’s good enough for me.

These guys aren’t just car wash and detail guys, they are freakin magicians. My husband works out at a farm and for the last five years drives out to the farm with our fifty pound black and white dog in the backseat. Other than an occasional vacuuming this car hasn’t had much attention. I took it in on Sunday for a late father’s day present for an interior detail. These guys are amazing. The floor (which should be black) was practically white with dog hair, the car was stinky and dirty, just plain gross.
I wish I had taken a before and after picture, the results were amazing! The staff was friendly, courteous and professional. I loved the free pick up and delivery and I could not have imagined the vehicle looking as nice as it did. It feels like we have a brand new car! Will definitely use them again for my wash and detail needs.
