Walker’s Furniture and Mattress

Terrible customer service. I purchased a couch on Feb. 28^th, and was notified at the end of the transaction that it was back ordered until March 18^th. Okay, that was inconvenient but we went forward with the purchase anyway because it would come in time for us to host some guest for the weekend. Well, the 18^th has come and gone and nothing from Walker. I’ve called 3 – 4 times, but instead of getting a delivery date, I’m getting a «you were wrong we never said we would deliver it on the 18^th.» FIRST OFF, I don’t need you to tell me that I’m wrong. Even if I was (I’m not, because we would have cancelled if it were going to be later than the 18^th,) I’m not calling to get that information from you 3 – 4 times. TELL ME WHEN MY COUCH IS COMING.
It has been «on transfer from Spokane» since Friday, yet no one knows when it can be delivered? Oh, and forget trying to get on the phone with a manager. I’ve tried this twice and I can’t even wait on hold for the busiest manager of all time to talk to me. I was going to hold off on the negative review until I spoke to a manager, but since I can’t get a hold of one here it is. And if I don’t get my couch by the end of this work week, you better believe I will be cancelling the order. I had so much more furniture to buy, shame I can’t buy it from Walkers.
EDIT– the manager did call me back. Arrangements were made to deliver the couch tomorrow (maybe.) Good talk with management, but still not happy with the situation. Manager acknowledged that he understood my frustration which I appreciate. Updated to 2 stars, and will update rating again if my couch really does come tomorrow.

Great service, The lady that helped me and my pick out our couch and BEAST recliner and chest dresser was very helpful and knowledgeable of everything we asked her, We wil return to Walker’s in the future and refer as many people as we can.

I purchased a couch from Walkers custom made by Sunset Home in Oregon. WOW!!! My last couch was almost 3X’s the price. I love it! It exceeded my expectations in quality. Buy this couch if your looking!

Went there after every other furniture store and found the perfect headboard on a display model in there mattress section. Asked if they’d sell it to us, and they said no because it was discontinued. For the rest of the visit the salesperson didn’t have an interest in working with us and the selection was small at best. A crappy reason not to sell A FLOOR MODEL, and will not go back.

I have bought several pieces from Walker’s in the last few years from small items to living room chairs and a few months ago 4 bedroom pieces for 2 bedrooms. Ross was the salesperson and he was not only helpful but very patient with my indecision. Left saying I’d be back to buy one set, then came back and bought another style. Quality of pieces Is great, delivery was prompt and courteous. Value was outstanding. I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. I have never been treated wth indifference by anyone on the phone or in the store.

Bought a mattress set and base last week, but after delivery discovered that bedding is difficult to find for the size/​style we bought. So we arranged for an exchange.
I was given a «military discount» for the original purchase, but they couldn’t/wouldn’t give me the discount on the replacement set, saying «the manufacturer won’t allow us to change the price.»
Is their «military discount» a Walker’s Furniture discount or is it dependent upon the product manufacturer? Be consistent one way or the other!

Bought $ 8000 of furniture. After quite some time we had a need to use the extra dining room leaf. It didn’t fit the holes & pegs were off. We called Walker (paraphrasing) they told us too bad.
I’ll fix it but my next $thousands will be spent elsewhere. May not be long just bought a new house.

AWFUL AWFUL customer service!!! My husband and I were interested in one of the furniture, so we stopped by to check it out. A man named Ross helped us, gave us his card and told us to call him if we had any questions. Later in the day we called to make sure the furniture we had in mind was in stock, and we went back to the store. We talked to Ross again but he was busy with a customer, so we waited, and waited. I went to see if any one else could help us, but nobody seemed to care. After total of 20 minutes of no help and absolutely no interest from anyone to help us we finally walked out. Mind you there were still some employees just walking around. They saw us but had no care to talk or help us. This place have very unfriendly and uninterested staff working. Don’t waste your money and TIME here. We certainly won’t.

Bought a sofa and recliner 3 years ago. Bought the 5 year warranty which they said covered everything. Have gone back and forth for a year with the store and the insurance company… jumping through hoop after hoop… and we still have not heard anything about them covering wear damage. They resolved the issue now we are happy

My husband and I have bought all of our furniture from Walkers for the past 30 years. We love their style! The staff is knowledge and helpful yet leaves you alone to browse. The furniture we haven’t bought there (sleep number bed) and desk from Costco now need to be replaced. We will replace those items at Walkers ! Never have had any problems !

They have a decent selection considering the size of the community here, but the salespeople always act like they’re doing you a favor by selling you furniture. I hate that buying a couch is like buying a car.
I especially hate paying a delivery fee. I just spent $ 1600 on a dining table set and now you want me to pay an extra $ 100 for delivery?! Seems like local delivery should be free after $ 500…

Great selection as compared to other retailers in the area plus they offer to meet or beat competitor pricing! Best of all was the buying experience; no pressure from the sales floor and everybody was very nice and helpful. We will definitely return for our future furniture needs!

Stopped in here last night to check out bedroom sets. They didn’t have what we were looking for, but the friendly associate told us to check out the website because they had a couple of our desired style online. So, after searched their website, we found that they do not have any canopy style beds.
Overall, they carry nice furniture– much higher quality than Ashley, Complete Suite, and Furniture Row. If we were shopping for a couch, you can bet we would have bought a LaZboy from them. I just wish they had more selection in the bedroom set offerings.
