I specialize in residential home inspections in south-​east Wisconsin. When someone is buying a house, they usually have concerns about what kind of condition the house is in. What I do is make a professional inspection of the house and write a report in easy to understand terms on the condition of all the major components of the house so they have a better understanding of what they are buying and can negotiate any needed repairs with the seller. To help the real estate transaction, I also offer professional radon gas testing according to EPA standards. I have my own continuous radon monitoring equipment and can supply the report just hours after picking up the equipment.

History

Established in 2013.

After serving as a mechanical engineer for 22 years and doing inspections part time I decided to go out on my own full time where I can help people instead of wealthy corporations.

Meet the Manager

Darren T.

Manager

I graduated from college with a bachelor’s of science degree in engineering technology in 1992. I was plant engineer in charge of maintenance for a 290,000 square foot facility for eight years. After manufacturing in my area was moved elsewhere, I’ve held several design and project management positions including lead designer for a company that designs precast concrete commercial buildings for four years.

During the great recession I began to think about all the years I’ve given to greedy corporations and decided I’d rather spend my time helping people than helping companies increase their profit. And so was born Advanced Property Inspections!
