I was finally able to try out Big Matt’s today. If I’m perfectly honest it was a bit underwhelming. If you’re looking for bbq in a pinch is an alright option.
I got a half rack of baby back ribs & a pulled pork sandwich. The ribs were tough & didn’t fall off the bone. I don’t live very far from downtown & by the time I was home they were cold. I’ve gotten takeout from places that were further away and haven’t had this issue. The pork was ok. Nothing that really stood out. The baked beans were pretty good. Mac and cheese was meh…
I’m guessing it was «Big Matt» that was in the trailer & he was really friendly. If I was rating this solely on the food it would be a 2 star review. The service was fast & friendly, so that’s an automatic star in my book.
