So cute. Friendly service, smells like books, good tea selection… I’m not sure what more you could want?

This is great place to pick up used books in excellent condition and get some lovely tea while you’re at it. So many books to choose from you can spend a lot of time here. But, it can get a bit crowded at the register if they’re busy and only one person is working. Still, there’s not much to not like about this sweet store. Prices cannot be beat, location in downtown area is prime!

Stopped in here when I had some time to kill and enjoyed the visit very much. Found several books for me and my daughter, enjoyed pleasant conversation with the owner and owners daughter. I liked the sand tray/table – very Zen! Only thing I would change is different music playing, as something more relaxing to set the tone may make people browse longer.

Just found this place today by driving by. VERY clean books. No rips, no tears. Books books everywhere. And I mean everywhere. They are piled all over. The sale price is ½ of the original publishers price marked on the book, unless it is stickered with another price. The owner was very nice, and helpful. Also books that are«naked» without dust jackets are $ 2.00. Not bad. Many places to sit and check out your finds. Did not try the tea this time. Looked like high quality.(or high quali-tea) Sorry, just had to. Fun place if your a bookworm!

As an avid reader, I am always searching for new places to get books. Unfortunately, used bookstores in my town do not normally stick around for too long. This place has been here for at least a year, probably longer, and I am in love with it. Every time I go in, it seems that something has improved. The owner is amazing and always helpful. She also is very good at listening to what you are looking for. I asked about her having an herb called Kava in her tea selection. She hadn’t heard of it, so she looked it up while I was in the store and decided to carry it! There is a kid’s nook(which my daughter loves) and the books are reasonably organized. There is also a little nook with comfy chairs and a pleasant atmosphere. Between the smell of the books and the teas, it smells like heaven to a tea-loving book fanatic. I could live there. I walked out today, with some in store credits(I bring books every couple of months and earn credits towards books), I got 3 large hardcover books, 1 children’s book, and 9 paperback books for under $ 40. I HIGHLY recommend and push more people to go there because I definitely want to keep this around!

I would put this place on my list to must visit every time I come up to this city. It is located right in the heart of Downtown Kenosha. I love to read and this little store has a huge amount of books for my browsing pleasure! They have a very good selection. They have some good tea brewed up that you can enjoy while looking for your next read(hence the store name).During our visit, the lady working behind the counter was very friendly and welcoming and thoroughly described the tea that she had currently brewed for the day!
