Taco’s To Go

Small grocery store with a taco place in the back. Food was alright, only have 2 tables so it’s more of a carry out place. The prices on the menu don’t reflect what u actually pay. So that’s not cool. First time here. Chicken tacos weren’t that bad.

The burrito was very disappointing to say the least. Once is all I will go. This was an American version of a burrito and taco bell would be more authentic tasting. Keep driving.

Next time we’ll drive on past…
We have driven past this hole in the wall many times, and each time have said «we need to give them try sometime, maybe they have really good food.» Well tonight El Hacienda’s lot was full, so we decided «why not?» The better question would have been «why?»
Tacos To Go is a dirty and gross place. I wish I could have seen the grill area, but the counter area and waiting area was dirty and had torn chairs.
We ordered 2 taco plates, fried mac and cheese (for the kids), a Mexican egg roll, and chips and salsa. When I took the egg roll out of the bag — about a tablespoon of grease came out with it! The chips were cold and greasy.
To give them credit, the tacos were not bad. Just a basic taco. But again, the hard shell was greasy and gross. I think the egg roll would have been good if it weren’t so greasy.
Wish Unilocal didn’t force us to give things 1 Star. This one would have negative rating! Next time, we’ll just go through the Taco Bell drive through.

I liked their cheese fries but that’s about it. The «steak» in my taco was pretty gross. As was the interior of this place. And expensive for what it was! Can anyone say «food desert?»
