Id give this place 0 stars if I could! A few years ago I went here for the cosmetology program. And first off I’d like to say from day 1 it was a complete shit show! The classes before and after us both got more opportunities in training then my class did. It seems like we were in limbo, like they didn’t know what to do with us. The classes before us got a completely different training course then we received. The school was in the process is changing everything in their training course but unfortunately we were not lucky enough to receive all those changes like the classes right after us. Everything from hair extension training, extensive make up classes, air brush make up and even in depth waxing. There is 1 course I distinctly remember the most and that was the make up section of our training. We got 3 days of basically our instructor telling us to «go ahead». They never taught us how to set up for the service, clean the brushes, match skin tones, pick the best colors based on skin tones, absolutely NOTHING. This school made me regret going into the cosmetology field. I feel I never received an adequate education and for $ 20,000 (probably a lot more expensive now) it was a utter waste of money. The owners, instructors, and financial aid «specialist» are complete bull shit. They DO NOT care about your education only your money. To them you are nothing but a pay check. If you plan on going to cosmetology school and you’re thinking about checking out this school, please run! Run FAR FAR AWAY!!! I can not say that enough!

I’ve been coming here for some time now. I’ve gotten facials, pedicures, manicures & color/​highlights. There has been an occasional bad service but it’s important to remember that these girls are students. Even though I’ve been coming here for a while I often forget that they’re students. If you feel like something is wrong or not going how you suspected, speak up sooner rather than later! They’ll fix a mistake if necessary & make it right!

This is a wonderful school, and I highly suggest it. People seem to forget that this is a school, and the salon floor is a class room. The students on the floor are still learning, however keep in mind that whatever it may be that they proceed to do on the hair, will be approved by an educator and no educator will allow a student to make a mistake and will guide the student in the right direction. To ensure that you receive the look that you are trying to achieve, make sure you tell them, if you don’t like the final result, once again tell them, and it will be fixed. I’ve been going here since the opening, and have never turned away, I love it! A haircut starts at 11 dollars, and color 23. It’s very inexpensive, but if you’re expecting to get a A+ look in the time that a salon does it, it’s not going to happen. Things do take longer, but you’ll receive an awesome look and the students will do everything in there power to achieve the look you’re looking for.
And if all you people were unsatisfied with the service you received, why didn’t you tell the student that you weren’t happy? It would have been graciously fixed (: Also, for a quicker service and a more experienced student ask for someone that has been there for awhile, or a senior student.

You should definatly give these students a try. They do a great job. and I got an all over color for 28 $!!! where does that happen and it looked beautiful. They offer all services. mani/​pedi/​color/​cut/​perm/​waxing (even bikini)…and Other services.
Very friendly ladies. and a couple gentlemen… there are teachers assigned and they consult before anything is done. you should make an appointment first as they get busy…
