I’ve been going to Mike at Kensington Auto for the last 12 years for a Toyota Corolla and a Honda Accord. He is absolutely the BEST mechanic I have ever experienced. He is scrupulously honest about repair needs, does excellent work (have never had to have any re-​repairs), and has very reasonable rates.
Highly recommend him for your Japanese car (and possibly others, I think he works on Volvos as well).

Just the best. I’ve been coming here for car maintenance and repair for about 20 years. They always let me know what needs to be fixed, what can wait if I prefer, and what’s just fine. As a result, I’ve been able to put an impressive number of miles on the car, and haven’t had a single break-​down. The folks who work there are really nice, too.
