Awful! I walked in, there was a dog in the way, and the man who came and gave my shoe one look and shook his head and said absolutely not. Now I realize, my boot was in not so great condition, but they were my favorites, and isn’t that the point of taking it to a shoe repair. I was highly disappointed by the lack of effort and professionalism. Now, If you want great service, go to Eastern Market, to Mr. Peterbug’s shoe academy. Talented students being taught shoe repair by a local legend(who knew there were shoe repair legends. but he is one). He was able to resole my boot and they looked brand new when I got them back. and they price was perfect! So long story short, Kensington was AWFUL and RUDE!

Great service and reasonable cost. I had two pairs of shoes repaired and polished, they looked new.

I took six pairs of shoes here that were pretty worn out, but beloved, and hoped they could be salvaged. I got six pairs back that look like I just bought them. Some needed new heels and a really good polish while some just needed a polish but all look fantastic. This is my new go-to place!

Terrible! I dropped off a pair of pumps to be rehealed and returned a week later only to find that they weren’t done. Apparently they were too ruined to fix. Well that would have been excellent to know sooner because I needed them done tomorrow. They took my phone number but didn’t feel the need to call me so I could find a more competent shoe repair office in time.

This place does a great job and is very reasonably priced! An old couple runs this operation and they are very nice. Funny old dog inside of the shop adds to the charm!
