I really like this place. The have all the new releases and discounts. They have everything you can think of jerseys cleats pants. They have great costumer service and they’re awesome

Helpful and friendly staff. I was pleased when a sales associate addressed my nine year old son with respect and they worked together to get what we needed easily and left with a good feeling too.

Everyone in this store is extremely helpful! I came in looking for goalie gloves and they went above and beyond to find me the size that I was looking for because it didn’t seem to be out on the floor. Been coming here a lot for cleats, shorts, shirts, etc. THE store to go whenever you have soccer needs! Ask for Paul, Adrian or ‘blonde’ David!!***

My son wanted a pair of high-​end cleats, so I told him that I would buy some for him if he did well in school. Well, he did great! Worked hard in school all year. I told him to research online to find a few possible cleats to buy.
He read about the Nike Magistas, which had mostly good reviews, but he read in 1 review that they cause blisters. He also liked to the Nike Hyper venoms. We headed to Soccer American to select a pair of cleats.
The salesman, was unfriendly and curt, and did not even bend down to measure his foot. I asked him to confirm my son’s shoe size, while I was putting my son’s foot in the measuring device. He looked down at the measurement from like 6 feet away, said, yes he’s a 10 and confirmed that a 10.5 would be ok.
When we asked about the Magistas, he said that they are great for a midfielder position and when I asked him about comfort, he said that they are extremely comfortable. I even specifically told him about the comment my son read online, about the Magistas causing blisters, and he insisted that they were comfortable. I asked him again to confirm that they are great for midfielders. He said” «Like I said, yes.» Wow… ok Well, sorry, but I’m dropping $ 300 on a pair of cleats, I want to make sure they are the right fit for my son!
Ok, after trying on the Magistas and Hyper venoms, my son decided to go for the Magistas, as the sales clerk said that they are best for a midfielder AND that they are comfortable. They were comfortable in the store, but not after running and kicking in them for an hour or so!!!
The next day he practiced for about an hour or so in them and had blisters on the back of both feet. I wiped the shoes clean, and took them back to the store, as I wanted to exchange them for another pair. The clerk at the register, also cold and aloof, told me that my son got blisters because the shoe is too big, that it’s supposed to «fit like a sock», so I should have bought a shoe his actual size, which is a 10, instead of a 10.5. I told him, well Soccer American’s sales person who sold us the shoes told us that a half size larger is fine.
He then went to the back to speak to his manager, who told him to tell us that we could not exchange them due to the wear. (note: My son wore them about an hour and we bought them the night before, further, you’d need to look REALLY closely to see any wear. Lastly, it’s their fault for the bad advise!!)
I told the clerk that their salesperson told me that these shoes said that they are very comfortable and so I bought them based on his recommendation. I asked to speak to the manager.
The manager came out and told me that all cleats with the built in sock cause blisters in the back of the heel due to the leather binding which holds the sock!
Well, why didn’t the guy who sold me the shoes tell me this??? Why didn’t the clerk at the register tell me this?
Also note, the clerk at the register had JUST told me a few minutes prior that my son got the blisters because he was wearing a half size too large, and the salesman who sold us the shoes said that the shoes are VERY comfortable AND that a half size larger is ok… Which is it???
The manager had my son put the shoes on and agreed with the salesman who sold us the shoes that the size of the shoes were fine. (Note: As I stated above, just a few minutes prior, the clerk at the register told me that a shoe a half size larger was the cause of the blisters!!)
The manager said that he needs to wear some sort of padding, like moleskin to cover his heel in order to prevent blisters. Ok, so I bought a $ 300 pair of cleats for my son and they cause blisters??? Now he needs to prep his foot each time he wears the cleats!!!
And the store’s clerk who sold us the shoes told me that they are comfortable, now the store won’t let me exchange a pair of barely worn shoes for another pair due to the shoes’ discomfort??? That’s jacked!
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I was told that I could buy a pair of $ 40 socks, which should eliminate the problem… did they offer a discount on the sock???
NO!!!
Wow…I will NEVER go to Soccer American again!

Very disappointing. Make sure you’re 100% certain about your purchase cause their return policy sucks. But that’s not my issue, my issue is that the so called «manager» of the store implied that I was lying about the issue I experienced with the item I bought. «I don’t believe that, I’ve worn them many times» was his response when I told him the shoes were slippery and caused me to come down hard on my arms 5+ times in an hour and a half of playing futsal, as if I need to lie about something so petty.
They may have a better soccer collection than Dick’s or Sports Authority but I’d rather not have to deal with nonsense. Try them here and buy them online is what I would recommend.

With the World Cup in full swing and a few days from departing to Brasil for the World Cup I had to get myself a jersey. I stopped in for the first time hoping that they would have a jersey for a team I liked and I was pleasantly surprised to see that they had jerseys for every team I liked and the ones I didn’t. The selection was great, which is saying a lot when you go shopping during the World Cup.
The service was also phenomenal! Kathryn was amazing with her service. She helped me choose multiple jerseys and find the necessary sizes as well as throw in some fun facts about the teams. She knows her futbol and it shows.
The prices are also very, competitive with what you will find at other speciality soccer stores. What does it all mean? Well great service, great prices, and a large selection equals the best soccer store in town. This is the place to go. Once again, thank you Kathryn. Now if only Spain was as good this year as Soccer American is.

I don’t know how there aren’t more reviews for this place, but I guess it says something that the one other review is 5* as well. I woke up hungover but in anticipation of a soccer game on sunday decided I needed some new swag to don myself in for my big day, so I went to soccer american — all the way from dc. I was not disappointed. I actually just went to get some «cold gear» to play in, but was put at ease and convinced to «look around» by the friendly staff.
Kate in particular had the most infectious enthusiasm for her job that I’ve seen anywhere, I had no choice but to sit down on their fitting bench and try some cleats on. I initially just wanted to try two pairs of cleats on in the $ 120 range, but Kate brought out essentially anything that would fit me (size 12). But she didn’t just throw me shoes and walk off, she described all the characteristic of each boot and why they may or may not have been good for you. I promise you, Ronald (inh)o doesn’t get this type of service from his club’s staff. I was ready to go out and score a hattrick, or at least run around in my new gear, right away.
How’d my game go? It was cancelled. But I do not for a second regret rushing to get these cleats and soccer gloves for a second — when I easily could have passed the time waiting for my hangover to dissipate watching the australian open or something.

Great Selection, Great Service, Fair Prices and very very very friendly staff.
