Kelly has a diverse knowledge of the commercial, industrial, mixed-​use and high-​end residential real estate markets. She has worked with a host of real estate professionals throughout her ten-​year career as a marketing executive for a number of leading real estate firms in the Puget Sound region, including Martin Smith Inc, Egis Real Estate Services, Urban Visions, and Pinnacle. While at Martin Smith Inc, Kelly also held the position of property manager, overseeing a portfolio of office, retail, and mixed-​use properties in downtown Seattle.

In addition to a career in real estate marketing, Kelly gained extensive knowledge as a public relations and media relations professional during her tenure at Frause, one of the leading public relations firms in Seattle. At Frause, Kelly focused on the creation and execution of successful campaigns for a number of high profile real estate companies located in Puget Sound.
