I am a painter, and I also do a lot of drawing. I have been working with the human figure since 2010, but I have also done quite a bit of abstract work. History

Established in 2011.

I studied painting, drawing and art history at the University of Washington. I earned my BFA in painting, and a BA in art history in 2004. I acquired my business license to begin selling my work in 2011.

Business Owner

I have a BFA in Painting and a BA in Art History from the University of Washington (2004), and an MAT (Teaching) from the University of Puget Sound (2007). I also currently teach painting and drawing in Tacoma, WA.

I have been working almost exclusively with the human figure since 2010, and continue to be inspired by the many shapes and forms that the human body can take, and the seemingly infinite number of non-​verbal things the body can communicate via painting and drawing.

When I do work in the abstract, I am interested in exploring space on my own terms. I have sought to flatten or eliminate traditional references to space (horizon line, diagonal or receding lines, overlapping shapes, etc.). I am interested in discovering a new way of creating space, real or illusionary, through the resulting flatness.
