Stay away from this place. We booked 3 nights and were asked, not so nicely to leave for asking for another room because ours was DISGUSTINGLY filthy with a tiny and very uncomfortable bed.
Because of all the obviously illicit activities taking place at this location, it did not take that much to convince us to oblige with their request, but had to fight with them to get our money back for the last night we did not stay. Only after I got my credit card company on the line requesting cancellation for the entire 3 night charge did they relent and refund the last night.
If you cannot afford the little bit more for a decent, clean and safe place to bed down, do yourself a favor, save your money and sleep in a dumpster. It would be cleaner and the rats would be more polite than the staff at this dump.

Never in my life have I had to pay to be constantly abused by supposed «service professionals» while not only respecting the grounds but also politely taking the seemingly put out and ignorant excuse of «customer service» down talking and directly rude comments designed to intentionally hurt for no reason at all… Wow! Who hired these people?! HR will learn there names soon, that is if they even have HR… I’ve personally worked in the service industry for 20 years and understand concepts like make your guests feel safe and make sure to at least pretend you care about your job until you clock out and unwind with a cold one. Understanding the struggles of constantly serving others, I’ve learned to have a healthy emotional disconnect to my job so to always maintain a level of professionalism suited to properly represent the establishment with which I worked for… the ones who payed me… I also never bad talk or write bad reviews as I understand the negative impact they can have towards a business. Writing this however feels liberating and necessary… Clean up your act! Try and remember the basic concept of humanity… Complete and total let down and a waste of precious hard earned money… #sensitivityclasses… K, I’m done.

By far the worst hotel stay my wife and i ever had. In less than a year my wife and i witnessed 3 murders, in which the mngt did nothing to comfort us. We had to switch rooms 3 times do to leaking ceilings in rm 225, no heat in rm 227. When we first arrived our reservation wasnt honored. Sadly we had to settle for a double bed when we booked a queen bed. Our vehicle stayed getting tampered with and u guessed it the manager D did nothing. Just today we were kicked out by D whom is the Manager due to the fact that o came home or to the hotel only to find our rm door open our things rummaged thru and stolen. Instead of hearing our concerns we were met with Kent PD insisting that we leave… #Dontgothere #Housekeepersnewandoldsteal #OutDatedEverything #Prostitution #Drugs Not worth the stay… Ooooo and our rm 227 has a fresh bullet hole from you guessed it #TheNewManagement Here do not disturb signs mean please disturb, please invade our privacy… Screw this hotel, the past management sucked and the new management is even worse… Mr B

Let’s get this straight, this place is super cheap. My room was $ 50 after fees and taxes. So maybe you get what you pay for, but when you pay any money for a room you have some basic expectations. You probably don’t expect cigarette ashes and burns in the carpet and pillows in a non-​smoking room, you probably shouldn’t have to worry about the burning smell the heater makes or what that discarded foil next to the nightstand was for. Also, where’s the TV remote? And no, Mr. Strange Man standing just outside my door after I get back from moving my car, you cannot borrow my phone, sorry. This place was dirty, uncomfortable, and downright scary to stay in.

Haven’t even completed my stay and already had the worst hotel stay experience. As I was waiting to check in, there was a guy who walked into the office to request a bed sheet change and the girl at the front desk was so disgustingly rude I could not believe what she was saying. She immediately started talking bad about the man who was requesting new sheets after he left. She was saying he looked like and smelt like dogs and she hated dogs as she was rolling her eyes, her whole demeanor was all bad. She was rushing me to check in and had a smart mouth definitely doesn’t belong in hospitality! So if you come here and a girl by the name of Mesha helps you request to be helped by someone else because she will ask for a tip knowing that dirty girl don’t need anything but a shower and some manners.
I almost wanted to call corporate to complain but clearly she needs a job so hopefully management can do a better job at training their employees.

I found this place on Expedia and decided to check in because it was on discount.
Well, you get what you pay for!!!
As soon as I arrive I notice that the place is sketchy. Then head to my room, just to see how bad it is. I requested nonsmoking room but it was like «what the hell they have been smoking in here». It was smelling like weed or something. Room was not feel clean either. There is no bed cover either.
There were lot of trashy people with dumb dogs, apparently staying there.
I noticed that there was no shampoo in the bathroom, asked the staff (they were both friendly, so I feel sorry that they have to work there) and they told me they are out of shampoos and I can just walk to the shopping center other side of the street. What! When I told them about the smoke smell, they said «yeah sometimes people smoke in nonsmoking rooms». Excuse me but it is your responsibility to clean it then. Then the guy offered me an refresher odor, just to see that they were out of it either.
That was it! I called Expedia and asked them to find me another place to stay. Expedia gave me discount on the new reservation and will refund me for that mess as well.
So overall, pay 30 $/​night more and stay at a decent place. Or please please stay here if you are engaging in drug dealing to any other criminal activity.

Zero Stars– we got into our room and peeled back the bed covers to see pubic hair and skin dander on the bed spread. The toilet had pubic hair on the seat, the sink was filthy, and there was debris clogging the drain, and the shower stall was littered with hair. Absolutely disgusting. We ended up leaving and slept in our rental car.

This place and service in general was a complete disaster! They clean once a week if your lucky and expect to be tipped. The customer service was disgraceful. My reservation was canceled and ended up stranded. I would never stay at any Crosslands Economy Studios or any Extended Stay Property in my life.

All of the bad reviews I would say are giving it nicely this place is awful the regional, district, and general managers did not respond to me after many calls and voicemails. This place was so bad I had to ask for my Money back and stayed at the comfort inn in auburn instead. Drug addicts, gang members and prostitutes is the people stay here be warned it seems like they just run a slum hotel
And take complaints and say oh sorry we’re doing this and we’re doing that but they don’t it’s unsafe. I was in town for work and needed a place to stay what a waste of time. I want to reiterate the failure of the regional, district, and general managers were 100% unavailable on there numbers I left messages and called numerous times same

The first thing you notice is the smell of the room. I can’t quite describe it, maybe a mix of old smoke and floors/​carpets that have never been cleaned. There were two mismatch chairs, one being some old office desk chair. The lights wouldn’t turn on at first and the curtains were not wide enough to cover the entire window. Fun times.
The beds were so old, I think they were older than me. You could plainly feel the wires and springs when you sat down on the mattress, and the squeaking it made kept my wife up for half the night. We were so apprehensive about the room we wrapped my wife’s pillow in a sweatshirt.

The carpet seriously looked like it had never been cleaned. There were no less than 4 spots where gum had been trampled into the carpet. My wife and I had to check the carpet for needles, just for peace of mind (considering the state of the room).
The TV was made in, I don’t know, 1986? Maybe 15″ screen and very few channels. The remote had seen better days. Internet was slow but they give you the niffy option of paying more for ‘faster’ speeds. Uh, yeah.
The bathroom had the toilet paper roll holder falling out of the wall, along with a nice chunk of drywall. The towels were stained and ancient. My favorite thing was the nice piece of green gum on the top of the shower, class act I tell you.
5am I get awakened by trucks starting and idling, people walking by, yelling (to be heard over the sound of the vehicles). Awesome I tell you.
I was surprised to find my car still outside of our room in the morning, honestly, that’s how sketchy the area appeared to be.

Just sleep in your car

If I could give it zero stars I would. We stayed here for 4 days while we waited for our new apartment to be ready after a cross-​country move. After traveling so far and walking into our room, I literally almost cried and we almost checked back out right then and went somewhere else.
First, the positive: the staff. They were friendly and helpful. Annnnnnd, that’s all the positive.
The neighborhood was pretty rough. Lots of shady people hanging around especially at night. One of our last nights there, we’re pretty sure we heard a gunshot very close by.
The room was dirty and the bed was awful. Completely uncomfortable and it squeaked loudly even if you moved a little bit. I found a dead bug and weird stain on my pillow. The tv was old and outdated and there were few channels to choose from. The WiFi did not work reliably at all. The towel made my hair smell terrible after using it.
The stairs to the upper levels of the building smelled strongly of urine. There were no amenities to speak of.
Even our dog was on edge the whole time we were there. (I guess that’s one more positive, dog friendly)
All of this luxury for almost 6
$ 60/​night!
Our apartment was ready sooner than we expected, so we checked out early and got the hell out of there.
Spend the extra money and stay somewhere else!

I stayed for 4 months. I left because someone with a key to room stole a computer notepad. The manager took 6 days to respond to the complaint their insurance company took 3 days to send an email and when I called during business hours call went to voice mail and I have not received a call back. They allow too many dogs and the property grounds are not kept clean. Rooms are aged and not repaired well. They show wear and the first room I was in was infested with bed bugs.
At least the staff was pleasant.

Omg. so many things to say about this place. We are so disappointed. I’ve stayed at extended stays before, specifically the extended stay america brand hotel (w the drk green signs) so I was expecting something of that caliber. Let me tell you… THIS was NOT it. First of all, we made a reservation online thru the website for 14 nights. We got one price for that but a couple days closer to our actual check in, they sent out an email with a much higher price, saying that it was because they hadn’t added the taxes yet. We had the reservation for like two weeks at that cheaper price and then they sprung that up. So, what was the point of making the reservation, if it didn’t lock in the price? Second, we are staying for a week here but don’t expect any room service/​housekeeping. You only get housekeeping «on the 7^th night» wtf. and u have to bring your towels down to the office for them to exchange with you. Third, let’s talk about the blatant lack of cleaning that these so called housekeeping girls are doing. Some of the towels in the room were not clean and looked suspicious. The shower was dingy looking and there was hair and dirt on the walls as well as the floor where the drain was. It didn’t look like anybody had cleaned this out in a while. There was someone else’s hair on the walls. Not to mention, there was dirt, scuff marks, grease stains on the doors and walls and on the floor. Let me tell you that the floor has not been mopped recently. And is it too much to ask to have the walls and doors wiped down??? I mean, what exactly are these housecleaners doing-​just picking up towels and making the bed and walking right back out the room? Because that’s what it looks like. The kitchen stove w two burners had not been wiped off nor had the dishrack been cleaned. The dishes in the kitchen looked suspect. there was no dishwashing liquid at the sink, we had to go by some. At the extended stay america, they give you a little trial bottle. The dishes did not match. There were two different size dinner plates, which really kind of irked me. The fan over the burners did not work. was clogged with grease. The microwave lookedlike it hadn’t been wiped out. If I wanted this much work at a hotel, I could’ve stayed at home, cleaning my OWN fucking place. Let’s get to the bed… the PILLOWS are horrendous. When I say the pillows were so flat… there’s nothing else a person can mean. It felt like somebody who was 1000 pounds had been using them as whoopie cushions. They were like pillowcases stuffed with cotton balls. No kind of comfort, no support. Flat fucking slabs. We almost bought pillows at the store and brought them back .yes it was this bad. My neck is hurting right now just thinking about it. My husband had to stuff our pillows with clothes. I’ve never heard of such a thing at a hotel! And for the price they are charging wth? Not to mention, the bed didn’t offer much support. was pretty rough. There was someone else’s hair in the sheets and the covers were lopsided and thin. There wasn’t enough sheet for one person to be comfortable, let alone two adults. The air conditioning and heat only had one function – to be consistently on unless u turned it off. It isn’t digital, so it doesn’t run for a while rest and power on, u turn the knob and then constantly have to adjust because it just stays on and on and fucking on. The closet space was a joke and there was no iron either. Just one of those college dorm, laundry room metal slab racks. There was only one nightstand on one side of the bed only, which didn’t make any sense. The lighting was terrible. Two switches for the same florescent kitchen light. Then one rickety lamp by one side of the bed that didn’t want to come on except after several twitches and tappings. And then a very ugly light in the «closet». A fucking full size bed for two adults at 60 odd dollars a night. Ugh. The internet was a gotdamn sham – constantly, constantly pressing refresh and refresh and refresh. We had to call a customer service number for help from OVERSEAS and that didn’t speed the service up nor make it more reliable. We gave them our IP addresses and all of that and it didn’t work. They had no wi fi connections w the same name but neither worked. They said it was connected with «excellent strength» for the signal but this wasn’t evident in using internet. It kept saying the server couldn’t find the data, or page not found. And basic surfing took hrs. It was so frustrating. The people at the front desk had no idea how to help us. They gave us a code and all but no tech support came from them. The guest is responsible for setting up the internet and fixing it, not the hotel. They offer free hi speed internet but it is A DAMN LIE. It isn’t hi speed anything. It was like old fashioned dial up. it was so bad. There wasn’t much signage And I saw a sign that says even numbers this way or odd numbers one way but it was completely wrong. Ran out of space. don’t do it

So many bad reviews for this place. But, I think it’s switched ownership since then and the place is much improved.
We got a newly repainted room which was an upgrade from what we paid for (2 beds instead of 1). Still a little beat up, but not bad.
Don’t expect a palatial experience, but our room was clean and fairly well-​maintained. Given that it is SUPER CHEAP, I was pleasantly surprised. Woman at the front desk was pleasant and highly professional. I think all the bad reviews from Priceline customers have made the hotel nervous and super-​observant about giving good service.
5 stars because it was cheap and much better than expected. It’s not a Holiday Inn but that’s why it’s so cheap!

Folks do not stay in this place. This place is downright awful. Rooms are filthy, washrooms are so bad that I had to wear my slippers in the shower. I got it through hotwire as I was driving back to Canada. Luckily I had my own sheets, towels and toiletries so was able to sleep here but the place reeked and I couldn’t stay here so left way early in the morning. The guests seem like backpackers and hotwire users ;) looking for a bargain.

We are presently staying in this hotel. Primarily this is a hotel used by the people who are down and out that need a place to lay their heads. The beds are ROCK HARD with no mattress pad or cover, the one elevator there smells horrible and makes questionable nosies when running, lots of evidence of shoddy repairs in the room we are in. There is no airport shuttle service but there is a Rapid Ride Line directly to the airport that stops right on Pacific Highway. Definitely not suitable for a single female or a family looking for a safe place to sleep. If you can afford better pay the higher rate for a safer hotel and location. Cash prepayment only!

Upgraded me for free. The room could have been better maintained but for the price it was worth it. The sheets and room was clean.

If there was a no star option, I would have selected it. this was the most horrible experience I’ve ever had in my entire life! I had booked this through
and have had nightmares about this place ever since! When I think of the city Kent, it sends shivers down my spine!
When we first arrived there was no one in the lobby, apparently they have certain hours where you can check in, if your late… sorry about your luck! We had just arrived roughly around 10pm and were able to get ahold of someone that was apparently living in one of the rooms to get us checked in that worked at this fine establishment. Upon checking in, the lady at the counter was laughing with the security guard that they have on duty to monitor the parking lot? ARE YOU KIDDING? Apparently, we were in a high crime area and I should have guessed that when I saw barbed wire surrounding the property!
Nevertheless, we went into our room which smelled like paint. and coincidentally. there were 4 five gallon buckets of paint left in the middle of the floor! … WAS THIS A JOKE? Looks like they were going through a remodel. but. seriously! I thought I was on the show «Hidden Camera» at this point. no way was this place going to get any worse right? At this point in time, no one was in the lobby, because it’s only manned at certain time, so we moved the buckets of paint outside and just dealt with it. Well, after being so angry and upset with this place we couldn’t sleep, I think we would have rather have slept in our car instead! I will never, ever, come back here again!

When my friend and I checked in (2 six foot tall men), we were given a room with ONE full sized bed… i mean really? You do the math, because the lady at the front desk obviously couldn’t…
So when we asked to get a new room, they were suddenly booked… so we called the 1 – 800 reservation number… they were defensive and argumentative about getting another room in one of their 2 other hotels in the area… yet here we are without a room in the rain.
back to the drawing board… and…never again Extended Stay (parent company)
