Kent, WA: Small but well appointed city park Per City of Kent parks and rec website: «EASTHILLPARK 4.62 acres 10920SE248th Street Facilities include: Play equipment, picnic tables, 2 tennis courts, basketball courts, drinking fountain, public art, picnic shelter, picnic areas, parking, restroom, trails: walk/jog» * * * * * * * * * * Located between apartments on the south end and single family homes on the north end, with winding paved pathways connecting all sections. An older park, but still clean and reasonably maintained. Cedar shavings line the playground areas. A charcoal briquettes barbecue is located near the two side-by-side, covered picnic tables. Restrooms were located adjacent to the picnic tables area. Dogs on leashes welcome but have your own duty pick up bags handy as the poop bag dispenser was empty when I visited this morning.(An fyi: Morrill Meadows Off-Leash Dog Park is just a couple doors west from the 248th St parking area.) A tiny parking lot is available, accommodating less than a ten cars, is on the south end, off 248th.
