I’ve come here countless times & let me tell you it’s only gotten better. This place offers multiple tv’s, pool tables and a bar as well. This place is also kid friendly too! Food is great with daily socials as well & service is top notch.

Holy DELICIOUS macaroni and cheese!!! Add jalapeños and bacon? HEAVEN! The kids love this place because they can come with us and play pool and table trivia(before 9). They have lots of cool events and everything I have eaten has been great, as is the service. Only thing I don’t like is their house wine, but… I drink it anyway :-)

Having heard so much about The Firestarter Pub, I was so pleased to go there for breakfast. I was not disappointed in the least. The coffee was good(if on the weak side), but, it did actually taste of coffee. I chose The Stuffed Hash Browns Breakfast with over easy eggs, sausages, jalapeños and a yummo gravy. They also have a staggeringly huge selection of drinks. The food and service was great, I do hope I get to eat here again, sooon A good, solid 4 stars. Highly recommended!

Not the restaurant we expected from reviews and menu… definitely a bar first, the only reason they are even getting 1 star is because the drinks weren’t terrible… The food and service on the other, horrible! Food took over 35 minutes and we were the only folks there eating(should have been our first red flag). Food arrived cold and burgers beyond well done. Over salted everything! Server spilled an entire tray of large water cups on my friend, on her phone and the entire table. Cleaned the floor with smelly lysol and water, the smell over powered the entire eating area. Bill came and NO discount or comp for the friend that got drenched, server didn’t even come back to deliver/collect checks, sent a different server. Not a place I’ll ever go to again.

First off let me say this is a bar! With that being said 5 bucks for 1lbs. Of really good wings, sign me up! I also got the fried pickles, well because they were on the menu. Service was outstanding considering there was only one bartender/waitress. The interior has a above the dive bar motif and had 70’s Rock playing and lots of sports channels, I would be back for the wings only on Wednesdays are the 5 bucks.

The menu is ok, but during every Hawks game they never answer their phone so i simply go for other places even during regular weekdays… They are not even remotely busy during game days they simply are understaffed and at times mix up orders. All in all there are many other places to go to and order food, simply because i actually prefer for a place to answer their phone when customers call, and my suggestion guys, if you cant handle one game day a week hire more people, dont make your customers go looking for other places.

Good bar with good prices during happy hour. I haven’t had any meals though, so I can’t comment on that aspect.

So sad I had high hopes for this bar. Only because it had pretty good reviews on here. My wife and I stopped in here on a Friday night around 9pm and our waitress walks up to us and«throws», the menus on a dirty table. Then the first words out of her mouth to us are«what are you drinking?» In the shittiest tone possible. We ordered a couple of coors lights. BUT, we decided to make the best of it and were gonna order some food but as I’m scowering the menu. I notice the menu is just paper and its old and wrinkled and has stains all over it. That was the last straw I paid for the coors and wiped the dust from this place off my feet as I chose not to ever look back. Bad service Dirty tables My clothes smelled like Cig smoke after leaving Stained menu

I have been here multiple times and find the food is consistently well made with large portions. The owners always make sure I’m satisfied with both food and drink and make me feel welcome. Try the garlic wings, best I’ve ever had.

My husband and I are still going for over a year now to The Fire Starter for breakfasts and lunches. Great food, wonderful cooks, warm and friendly owners and employees. I highly recommend it also for the atmosphere.

It looks like a dive when you go in, but the food and service are awesome! Not healthy, but awesome tasting burgers.

First time trying this local bar and was really slow. Ordered two apps and 3 sandwiches. Waited for 40 minutes before getting cold wings. Manager wouldn’t even come out to talk to us after we asked. Waitress was nice and handled the situation well. That was the only good thing. There wasn’t anyone else there at the time that we saw order food so the kitchen couldn’t have been busy…

Like some other reviews, I’m not sure how this place has four stars. This place smells like smoke and when I sat down, I already knew that this wasn’t the place for me. The service was mediocre and the place was grungy(not in a good way). I’m a bit sad that this bar replaced Wing Dome. I ordered a dragon melt which was pretty good but a little greasy side. The fries weren’t fresh and average. Nothing special as a bar.

Their uniform stands out, slacks and an old ass hoodie. Nice menu too, premium printer paper. Service was exceptional, we only got visited once during our beautifully crafted meal. The sauce for the wings didn’t even stay on the wings, fries were dry, salad had pieces of lettuce that were turning brown. Also the wings had a slippery, rubbery feel to them which was just lovely, it was a nice compliment to the overall experience of this meal. The numerous times I visited wing dome, I never encountered problems so big such as these. Shame they were replaced by such a professional, ahead of their time establishment. Slacks and a damn hoodie, innovation not yet ready for people who desire good food and good service.

How does this place have 4+ stars? Where do I start? Only reason I gave this place 2 stars was the waitresses were decent. The regulars are probably the loudest part of the part of the bar over the pool balls slamming each other, or the dart boards. I could hardly hear the jute box. I can’t believe anyone would want to even talk to them when they’re getting yelled at from 1 foot away. The front door just allows the cigarette, and pot smoke just flood in while closed. Not that anyone in the bar respects the 25foot smoking rule. The food W T F 4 of us got something different. I got the mac n cheese which was cold and smothered in bland cheese sauce. I paid an extra $ 2 for maybe a half a piece of bacon. The beer battered fish was loaded with deep frier oil, and the fish was basically tasteless. The dragon melt was so salty I couldn’t taste much at all other than salt. The tater tots were over salted it could have salted 3 batches of tater tots. Their food salty, great, and oily. I feel like I have several layers of oil in my mouth. My double vodka cran was a single in a double glass. The captains and coke was almost as bad as the vodka cran. My step fathers face after taking a bite of the coleslaw topped off the experience. I don’t recommend stopping here for anything.

We have been several times now since we live just down the street, and everything we have tried here has been on point. The stuffed hash browns are a must for breakfast, along with a $ 4 mimosa or Bloody Mary(they make them nice and spicy!). The Cobb salad is one of the best I have ever had, and the Mac n cheese is to die for(add bacon and ask for the ghost pepper salt). It’s a great place to watch football on Sunday mornings. The crowd gets a little sketchy in my opinion on weekend nights.

After a dismal few drinks at the competitor a few doors down, we ventured over here. This used to be wingdome and like the other place, Firestarter kept the same décor as Wingdome. So nothing new in that department. The menu has the typical bar food of wings, sandwiches, burgers, salads, etc. We did order some garlic parmesan fries to snack on and boooy, where they garlicky parmesan tasting. Thank God I am married and my husband actually loves me. Those fries were potent. The waitress informed us that we should really come back and try the wings because they were good. OK, Sunday football is the best time to come. I called to request the Bears showing and they easily accommodated. We arrived around 10:30 and the bar was in full swing of the early morning games playing. They serve up breakfast of omelets, steak and egg specials and you can order off the lunch menu. PERFECT. My husband got the club sandwich and I got the wings, salad, fries special($ 10). The food came out in a decent amount of time. My husband said his sandwich was really good and he liked the fries. My wings were ok, not the best but not the worse. I would get the inferno? instead of the buffalo because it wasn’t hot enough for me. We ordered mimosas($ 4) and I ordered a bloody mary($ 4). I typically do not like bloody marys but wanted to just try it. It was actually good, especially for $ 4.

Great food. Great service. We came on a busy Friday night about 7:30. We were pleasantly surprised at how attentive the staff was to our needs. One of the owners came by each table making sure everyone was taken care of. There were family’s with small kids enjoying a fun time. There are many flat screens with different sports on them. Music, pool and a full bar. We live close by(walking distance) and are excited that we get to enjoy this restaurant.

Stuff to try: * the Mac and Cheese will delicious your face off! * PICKLECHIPS! * the tots(esp. garlic parmesan) * the pastrami melt is my favorite * amazing Reuben * BLOODYMARY * orange chipotle wings * stuffed hashbrowns! They have awesome breakfast served until 1pm!
