The best teriyaki in town, hands down! Great quality food, super staff, and great price. This is my go-to place for teriyaki. Give it a try! You’ll love it too.

Kim’s Teriyaki, the place was really clean, which is always a plus. I ordered the Beef Teriyaki and the Chicken Katsu. It came just under $ 20.00. The Beef was a little fatty and it wasn’t the good fat where it melts in your mouth, it was the chewy type, more chewier than tripe. They don’t give you an extra teriyaki sauce even though they douse your beef with more than enough. For the price I paid for it, the amount of food was the size of a Beef Bowl, the portioning was extremely small, definitely not the value. Also considering the beef had lots of fat on it. Teriyaki was a little saltier than other places, but not too bad when you have enough rice. My son had the Chicken Katsu, I also noticed the portioning was small as well, he did not have any complaints, but he will eat anything. :-) Overall, it wasn’t decent, but the prices and the portioning was a little disappointing for the price. I think, I would only go back, if I was in the neighborhood, but will not go out of my way, since the value wasn’t there.

Best Teriyaki I’ve had. Spicy chicken teriyaki with fried rice and egg rolls is the BEST! Owners are so friendly and welcoming. Delicious.

I am a Teriyak connoisseur and I must say this is definitely above average Teryaki Chicken. It’s not the best in Kent but the service is good. The front desk lady is really nice and sweet. The chicken is juicy and doesn’t need to be drowned in sauce.

I ordered Chicken & Prawns Teriyaki Combo. It took more than 40 minutes to get my food and the place wasn’t really that busy. There were 3 customers waiting for their food ahead of me. Food finally came out, and just look at the«prawns» on the skewers(see my photo). During all this wait, they offered self-served soup, water, and nearby. The chicken was soaking in sauce, but it was obviously not marinated. So it tasted bland, anyway. If my son wasn’t at nearby 911 Driving School, I wouldn’t have come in here. I’ll never stop in here again.

This place was so good but now it’s so NOT! I do not recommend this place. My husband ordered their yakisoba and the shrimp was burned and the chicken didn’t even look like chicken everything was super dry. Again I do not recommend this place! Then the lady tried to argue with me that he had eaten half of it already, but NO! He only took at most three bites and literally threw it away

Hungry for something quick on the way home, I remembered this joint on the side of the road. In a little business center, it was a quick in and out along my way, why not? Décor wise, its what I expect when I walk into a strip mall ‘yaki place. Its homely and simple. They were super friendly when I walked in, and they were quick to offer me some soup too while I waited for my order of chicken yakisoba. Upon getting home, it was as I expected with a giant scoop of rice on the side. I’ve had better, I’ve had worse, but theirs was tasty. With friendly service and fair prices, I’d be back. But I wouldn’t go out of my way for them.

I’m a chicken and gyoza fan. That’s my go to meal. It was very good here. Salad fresh, rice plentiful, gyoza crisp, teriyak grilled with a little charcoal showing. Teriyaki sauce not overly sweet. Tea and eggdrop soup out for self service. Both good. I’ll happily return.

Service was awesome, and fast. I think the owner is trying, but not the cooks. She even gave my daughter a sucker(A for effort)… But for the most part my daughters teriyaki bowl was soaked in sauce. I like to have white rice under and a little sauce to go. The rice is super soggy and essentially moosh. I will stick to bucks at the top of the hill who gives twice the amount for 6 bucks and it’s fresh and perfection. I stopped cause it was convenient and quick. Always a bad deal when you are eating. I had Bun from Phở Tinh and it was DELICIOUS. Well thanks again for being so polite, but my daughters drinking her dinner tonight. Won’t be back

Love coming here! The food is absolutely delicious and the owner is so friendly. I have been coming off/on for years and she still remembers my family and I by name. Portions are a very good size :)

Great lunch, reasonable prices, quick service. I miss three major things about Seattle-dining. 1) Good phở, 2) Good teriyaki, 3) Good Tai. There is no where in Phoenix that holds a candle to Kim’s if you live on the south side of Seattle go and enjoy a spicy chicken teriyaki for this wounded soul!

It’s your typical teriyaki joint, but the server is extra friendly. Also the service is fast, and they serve you free soup and tea

Very clean, nice little teriyaki spot in the Kent Business Campus on Central just north of James St., also includes Vision Quest Fitness, who dominates the parking situation— there’s additional parking in the back of the building as well. The owner is a very sweet, hard-working woman, I believe her name is Heidi. If you don’t want to wait, call ahead ten minutes to place your order and it is almost always ready in that time frame. The last time I went in, they may not be doing the soup anymore, or it just may have been that evening, but they do have free hot tea. Some fountain drink selections and prepackaged drinks. Decent menu selection(I’m not a big teriyaki fan, so I usually go for the combination fried rice or one of the yakisoba). The food is great, of course a bit salty as with most teriyaki places. Don’t hesitate to stop in to Kim’s if you’re in the area, beats waiting in the parking lot on Central Ave. every afternoon!

Love this place. The owner is so friendly, and they are really fast. It’s nice that they have tea and soup for everyone while they wait. You won’t be disappointed.

How are there no reviews for Kim’s yet? This is a great, inexpensive option in downtown Kent right next to 911 Driving school and near Kent station. The owner is very friendly and there is delicious free soup available with any order. There are a lot of teriyaki combinations, which are all great, but I really love the fried rice here. I get the chicken fried rice and the portion is good for me for at least 2 meals. Closed on Sundays, but most teriyaki places are. You won’t regret trying Kim’s! The teriyaki chicken and gyoza combo is also one of my favorites.
