I like this place the service is great and the drinks are good. The deep fried zucchini is good but the sauce isn’t as tastey as it could be. But overall a pretty good place.

Don’t believe the regluar menu when it says«gf». Ask for the separate gluten free menu. Regluar menu items marked as gf are no longer gluten free, but are updated on the separate gf menu. Service was great. Our waitress was actually the one to tell me about the separate menu when I had a question about the gf pasta(the regluar menu is makes it seem like you can have any sauce on gf fusili– you can’t). Refills were plentiful & without having to ask or wait. She was very knowledgable. I hope she moves on to a better restaurant. I ended up ordering the basil-garlic chicken skewers, which were very much unflavorful, and came with a sauce that also tasted like nothing, combining into«lightly grilled chicken dipped in wet». The salad that comes with it had some flavor though. My husband ordered the chicken parm, which was reported to be ok but without the crunch from the chicken’s crust.

Came to this place for a quick dinner before a graduation. We had a party of 7 and was seated in about 10 – 15 minutes. Ordered the Lemon Pepper Linguine, and it was pretty good. A bit oily on the bottom, but it was okay. A lot of garlic, which was delicious. Our server, Courtney, was very friendly. Very patient and playful. Overall a very nice experience.

I’ve been here twice. First time with my cousin and I had their manicotti… they were OK. Probably wouldn’t eat them there again. But then a month ago I came back here with a friend, there was a 20 minute wait even tho I had made a reservation the day before. I had salmon with a hazelnut butter served over zucchini noodles and garlic potatoes. Very small portions. The salmon was absolutely amazing tho, nice and juicy. The server was very new but he was nice and as quick as he could be considering how busy they were. I would go back for this meal. All in all, I’d give them an ok. Nothing special but not bad either.

Yesterday was my second time here ever. I had been here once years ago and I remember it being unspectacular and this visit reinforced that. The food is very bland and plain as are the signature drinks. Service is fine and friendly – not outstanding, but not bad by any stretch. I just don’t know why you’d go here unless you’re sick of the other restaurants in Kent Station(why we went). It’s just so dull and average, but that describes most of the restaurants in Kent Station. If someone opened a REALLY good place there I’d like to think they’d clean up, but then perhaps not – mediocre seems to do fine.

I’m a former New Yorker living in the greater Seattle area. I know good Italian food and this sure isn’t it. I had the chicken marsala which was recommended as the servers favorite. It was below mediocre at best… gummy tasting… no flavor profile to speak of. I substituted risotto cakes for the linguine… yet another disappointment. No taste. The service was the slowest I ever encountered and we were not in a rush but this was ridiculous… after waiting forever we asked a table busser for the desert menu. The check was screwed up and a manager was needed to fix it. Apparently using a gift card was more than the server could handle. That was another 15 minutes of waiting. I can’t see myself ever returning here. It pains me to write a bad review, but this place earns my scorn. Try Via Marina in Des Moines… great food and service.

I have been here twice for happy hour. Love that they have an outdoor patio; the food is good and happy hour prices are great; their drinks are also strong, was feeling buzzes after just the grapefruit crush. Oreo dessert was delicious.

I’ve came here several times and the service is consistent. Everyone is super friendly and polite and it just gives off a great vibe! The salmon here is one of the best I’ve ever had. Only reason I do keep coming back. Don’t know how the rest of the food tastes. Came there towards the evening and they were semi busy, no wait time. Overall had a great experience and would recommend everyone to try there salmon!

I have come to really like Mama Stortini’s for the food. It’s definitely not like Olive Garden Italian food. If anything its more upscale and higher quality. My absolute favorite dish here is the Lobster Mac & Cheese. It’s very rich, but has an amazing flavor. I have gotten it almost every time since I discovered it. They have a great bar on the right side of the restaurant that has a pretty good Happy Hour. Unfortunately, my one time going for HH was not the best. While we were there, the waiter screwed up one of our orders which resulted in that person getting their food after everyone else finished eating. Not only that, but when everyone at the table ran out of water and got really thirsty, our waiter was either nowhere to be found or on the other side of the bar — for atleast 15 minutes. It was a disappointing service. So I can’t speak too highly of their bar, but I would recommend trying the restaurant if you are in the area!

I ended up here because I heard they had a good happy hour — I agree! The HH menu had plenty of drink and food options to choose from. The mac & cheese I got was perfectly cooked and the perfect size for a Sunday afternoon! The waitress was very friendly and attentive, she’s one of those people that really enjoys her job and it shows! Great HH, great service — definitely will return!

I have been here a few time and it has always been on a Sunday. Happy hour all day so it is affordable. The food is flavorful and the service is not bad. It’s a great place to grab a bite to eat.

Mama Stortini’s is one of those places that you would not expect at a mall, specially in Kent. Not that I have a problem with Kent but come on, let’s be honest here. The overall experience was pleasant and I really liked our waiter. After ordering some appetizers and main dinner, he waited enough time to bring out the dessert menu which is TODIEFOR. Seriously, their sumonis are amazing! One negative thing that stood out to me in this place are the hostesses. Did not acknowledge anyone until someone actually spoke to them and went and cleaned the table while they were tons of open ones right in front of our faces. Oh well, at least food was good ;)

I love this location, especially when we’re going to the Showare center for a show or event. The manager here is exceptional and really engages with each customer, I loved that. Every server we have ever had has been extremely friendly. and has never once made us feel badly for bringing our kids in, it’s very family friendly at this location, not so much at their Puyallup location. This is a very nice place to go to, it’s a little busy, so we’ve felt a little rushed, not as relaxed as their Puyallup location, but I’d prefer this one over the Puyallup location any day.

We came in a very busy Saturday night. I was impressed with the wait time and their service. The server came in right away and ask for our drinks. 5 minutes later she got our orders in. The food got pushed out really fast. Our server, Nicki, was very attentative. She was great. The food was awesome. My overall experience here was great. I would go back here again. I’d recommend it to everyone.

Stopped in for lunch… food was fantastic… only complaint was our server(short boy-cut blonde hair). We informed her we would like our food in 30mins or less as stated-that was no problem, however while we were waiting for our dessert we asked for our check… she rolled her eyes and gave us snippy attitude(definitely downgraded her tip)…as she walked away she whispered something to a coworker which then looked straight dead in my eye(of course our server said something to her about us). I mean really does she not know how to multi-task??? Common sense… if you don’t like your job go elsewhere. Seems like the staff here doesn’t like to smile or have a sense of customer service. I’d rather have had my food served by the kitchen staff who looked liked they were enjoying their jobs! We will not be returning to this location. Horrible service.

In the bar … Or waiter was on spot with perfect timing and just the right amount of interaction. The caramelized onion flat bread was the hit of the night with that perfect warm sweet and salty chewy gooie combination.

About time to update my review, as since my last review we have dined here 3 more times. So here are my updates. Service can be hit or miss. They are never over attentive, but sometimes hard to find. Some of them are running around so crazy they don’t ever stop at your table to give you a chance to ask for something. Also you can have long waits for refills — unless you are drinking alcohol. Food is always FANTASTIC. Ask about the seasonal veggies when you order as they change on a regular basis(kale, brussel sprouts, zucchini). We usually get the Calamari appetizer, and it is delicious. Last night we got the Parmesan Zucchini Crisps — definitely our new favorite. Huge portion, huge pieces, and fabulous cucumber dipping sauce. Entrée wise we always order the same things, I get the Simply Grilled Salmon with Lemon-Vermouth Butter, and my boyfriend gets the Char-Grilled Top Sirloin with Bleu Cheese Sauce. Always tastes amazing! We always leave satisfied and stuffed! The restaurant is typically pretty clean and well kept. Usually well staffed as well. Managers are always present on the floor and check in on tables rather often. The hosts are my biggest complaint. When you enter, there will be 3 or 4 of them standing there, and YOU have to be the one to acknowledge them first, they will not greet you on their own. The all have rather bad attitudes and seems as though none of them want to be there. On NYE we dined here and had called to try to make a reservation — completely booked, no problem, we understand. Asked how long the wait was so we didn’t make a 30 minute drive for no reason and was literally told«No wait right now, but in about 45 minutes it will be almost impossible to get a table.» So basically they just told us don’t even come in… Well, when we arrive an hour later, it was not busy and we didn’t even have to wait. Interesting.

Overall, I would say that this is a 3 and a half star place. The service is good. The drinks are good. The menu options are substantial. The food is OK. The crab cakes were fantastic, but I feel that the pasta falls a little on the average side. I would go here again, but try something other than the pasta.

Great entrees. I had chicken Marsala and my hubby had steak. He asked for it well done and it was actually charred. I don’t think it was supposed to be that burnt. Fireball shots were large and my Mojito were great. Bought calamari for the free appetizer for joining the club. But my mother in law also ordered a Cheese bread appetizer. So naturally they took off the cheese bread from the bill because it was half the price of the calamari. That was disappointing. I didn’t say anything because the waitress dropped a large bowl of ranch or clam chowder behind my husband. All 6 of our party was covered in white specks. The manager apologized while we were cleaning each other and gave us a $ 20 card for our next visit. That was nice of him but we would have much preferred money off our current bill. I guess he prefers we come back to spend more money. So, food was good and the waitress was absolutely wonderful, but they could work on some of their other customer service skills. Probably won’t be returning any time soon.

Better than the Olive Garden but very much in the same style. What I don’t get is the the burgers on the menu. I had the 4 Layer Lasagna which could have had a baked top but it was so good that I don’t care. My friend had the lazy lasagna which wasn’t as good but with a baked cheese top. The food is good and the staff was friendly.

Came here for my birthday. It was our first time. I ordered the grilled salmon with hazelnut butter and she ordered the baked ziti with meatballs. The grilled salmon had an amazing flavor, the butter was mouth watering. The mashed potatoes needs more work however. It lacked taste. The baked ziti with meatballs was just as amazing. It was really cheesy, which I love, and the meatball was so delicious. I will Coke back

Accidentally discovered this place while looking for parking at Kent Station… We happened to stumble in during happy hour. The bar was so packed we could not find seating. Eventually a table cleared and my bf and I sat down. Looking at the happy hour menu, I was pretty impressed… Vast selections and pretty darn good pricing. Their wine is like $ 3.95 a glass during happy hour and $ 2 off their mixed drinks. They have a variety of happy hour foods. We ordered their bruschetta mozzarella, meatballs, zucchini sticks, boneless buffalo wings, and a lot of drinks. Don’t order the wings. Was gross and way salty. The zucchini sticks come with a scrumptious cucumber dip… Meatballs were delish. The waitress kept messing up our orders which was weird. She brought us items we didn’t even order and had to send back. We just assumed she was overwhelmed with how busy it was so no biggie. I will definitely go back for their happy hour again. 3−6pm, 9pm-close. :)

I have been here now on 3 separate occasions within the last 6 months, all with a similar experience, so you can bet they’re pretty consistent. Depending on the day and time you arrive, you may or may not have to wait to be seated.(small waiting area too) the serving staff is pretty friendly, but you might need to hunt them down for a drink refill or two at times. The food is actually pretty good, I love the flavor of the lobster mac and cheese however it contains very little lobster at all. Even the«large» portion for $ 17.95 is actually fairly small with very little lobster. very flavorful however. Today I had the 8oz «char-grilled top sirloin» for $ 20.95 served with mashed potatoes and veggies. This steak was very well prepared, made to order and the Wisconsin blue cheese butter sauce on top is excellent!(I’ll be back for this dish) We typically get the calamari for our appetizer $ 11.50 its only ok in my opinion. I have had calamari from many places and I wouldn’t put this in my top 5 at all, its comparable to Olive Garden. I have and will return here, its reasonably priced for the quality of food that is served. The floor-plan is clean, open and inviting. If you have the unfortunate luck of sitting in the 2 person booth in the middle of the restaurant, be prepared… they are VERY small and narrow, if you are an «elbows on the table» guy like me… good luck!

I came here last weekend for HH and I was so glad I waited this long to try MS. Service here was really good and so was the food. My friend and I both ordered the French onion soup, the meatballs, pear and Gorgonzola flat bread, and crab cakes. Everything was so good but that might have been because I was starving all day and didn’t eat until HH. The pear mule that they offer there is great as well, good flavor but it still had that Moscow mule feel to it! I’ll definitely be coming back more often for HH and on Sunday, they offer HH all day! You know what that means, Sunday fun day.

Eh. Service was decent. Minus one star because the hostess didn’t smile and definitely seemed unhappy to be at work. She was actually kind of snippy… Sure set the tone for our experience. Our server was great, no complaints about her. Food? Fetuccini Alfredo was dryer than expected and a bit flavorless. Idk it was better with the Parmesan and fresh ground pepper I suppose. A bit disappointing for the price. That’s the other star subtraction. I would recommend the chicken Marsala. The chicken had great flavor and the noodles were buttered just right. Drinks were okay. I had the grapefruit crush, made it a double and it was $ 12. Again for the price it was just alright. I really didn’t find anything super impressive about my experience. I will come back and order other things.

I’m not a fan, nor it’s just ok, its more like 3.5 star review. I don’t mind coming here when there isn’t anything else I crave at Kent station. I’m really liking the mini dinner menu. I had the chop chop salad and fried zucchini sticks. I really enjoyed it. It’s perfect portion when you are not in the mood to stuff your face. And the price is great, its around $ 10-$ 15 for it. I think the ambiance would be better if the staff actually acted like they liked working there. They always look so miserable(the hosts). Don’t get me wrong, our waiter was nice and soft spoken, but didn’t come around when we needed him to, specially when the restaurant was not busy. I had to ask him twice if he can give me a straw, it seemed like he forgot the first time around.

Happy Hour ALLDAYON A SUNDAY is pure awesomest! I tried their strawberry mojito and volcano drink and they were both equally delicious! Both are made with strawberry purée. I’m a french fry whore and I love crispy fries and their basket of crispy fries are truly crispy! They have three big screen TV to watch whatever sport game is on. Servers are very attentive and super nice! Ill definitely come here again!

If you took Olive Garden and The Ram and they had a baby, you would have Mama Stortini’s. Unsure if I would return based on the food alone; definitely not authentic Italian. If you like the Olive Garden and The Ram, you would like this place though. If you want real Italian, go somewhere else. We came in as a group of 8 with advance reservations. We were early and were asked to wait for a table for a few minutes, no big deal. No complaints about anyone’s food that they ordered. The complimentary small crusts of bread served with some kind of tomato sauce was barely touched. It didn’t look appetizing to me. I ordered the seafood fettuccini, which was to have salmon, scallops and prawns. There were zero prawns, a couple tiny, tiny scallops and a couple chunks of salmon. The salmon looked like it had either come from a can or the chef didn’t know how to filet a fish. The alfredo sauce was meh. For $ 20, I was unimpressed. It was on par with something from Applebee’s. I know, I’ve mentioned half the menu is Italian and the other half is burgers and steaks. It’s all very Americanized Italian from what those in attendance shared with me. I ordered the strawberry lemonade which was clearly from a mix. I was dehydrated so I poured down a few refills due to that, not because I liked the taste. The waitress went out of her way to take care of everyone and although she dropped plates on the floor next to us and spilled some drinks, it was clear she was trying her best. Making reservations here was really odd. You can’t book online and have to call the restaurant. They put me on hold while they asked their manager’s permission for me to make a reservation. HUH? Not many people make reservations because when I called to change the number of attendees at a later date, the staff who answered the phone knew the party I was with without me telling her while on a restricted phone line. The ambiance is good. There’s a huge wine rack at the front of the restaurant that we were seated next to. It was loud inside but not so loud that we couldn’t hear each other. They have outdoor seating. The restrooms are right next to the kitchen, which is interesting, and there’s just one sink in the ladies room. It has two faucets but one sink which made it fun(cough). The private parking lot is shared with the rest of Kent Station so I could see that finding a spot here when other places are busy could take a minute. However, there’s the parking garage at the south entrance which is a short walk. Food: 3 Service: 3 Ambiance: 3 Parking: 4

I come here pretty frequently since its close by and good price for quality of food. Atmosphere is clean and lax. There are days where I’ve had exceptional service and it was very fun and memorable experience. There were other days where service was lacking. I had one woman in particular who was a total B-word to me and my friend one day, and she seemed to have marginalized us as we were the only ones having horrible service in her seating area. We were ignored and she was very quick with us… Definitely not a good day. Good luck picking a day with nice people on shift! I do appreciate that this place gives you a survey in the checkbook, and we definitely used it! Hopefully they will make necessary adjustments to certain workers. I would also have to mention the food is inconsistent. For example, the first time I ordered their crab cakes for HH, I completely fell in love. Perfect amount of cheese, crispy outside, and a sweet and balanced marmalade underneath. The second time I ordered it, the cheese didn’t seem as apparent. It was COLD in the middle, and the outside was warm and soggy. Same goes for their lobster ziti – some days it’s perfect, and other days it’s disgustingly greasy. Regardless of the inconsistency with servers and some HH foods, this is still one of my favorite places to go to for happy hour(boggling, right?). Awesome picks on the HH menu, low prices, great drinks. Definitely try it out! If you come on a good day, you would want to come back. Good days are worth the toss up haha. As for their main entrees, they are delicious! I’ve had their bolognese, seafood risotto(oooh ma godddd, even better as leftovers!), and house lasagna. All so good!
