I counsel people suffering from a wide range of life challenges. I specialize in the treatment of substance abuse, mental health and family problems. I primarily work with children and teenagers however I frequently counsel adults.

History

Established in 2011.

I have been working with youth and families in various therapeutic settings for over 10 years. In that time my counseling style has developed to seek a client’s own motivation to improve their life. I have worked as a licensed mental health professional since 2008. My experience includes working with adults, adolescents and children.

I am a collaborative therapist who provides individualized treatment. This means that I tailor treatment goals to you and your child’s specific needs. It is my belief that you are the expert on you and your child. Because of this belief I listen closely to your concerns and work on what we mutually agree are the most important problems. It is my job to help you develop those ideas and put them into action. I have a broad base of knowledge which comes from research and clinical experience. This means that I can provide you with skills and tools which have helped a great number of people. It is your choice to pick what will be the most useful information for you and your family so you can move on with your life.
