After establishing my business in 2009, and becoming master certified in IICRC, the leading standard in professional water restoration, I have been the successful owner and technician of Puget Sound Water Rescue. Though a smaller local company our positive reputation precedes us, and can provide an extensive list of customer and referral references. We understood that developing a company during that tough economic time and competitive market would only succeed if we stood alone in our quality work and efficiency, as well as our old fashion values, proving to treat every customer as if they’re our only. We are unique in the fact that we take as much time needed with every customer to exceed their expectations.

Very friendly and knowledgable!
We had plumbing issues and had sewage in our crawl space… But I called Matthew and was able to have him come out the next day. He worked quickly and was respectful with our home and making sure to put shoe booties on every single time. To top it off he gave us so much advice and recommendations about our old home that needs so much repair. I’m very happy with the service he provided. And hopefully I won’t need him to come again. But if we do, he’ll be the first person we would call!

I had Puget sound water rescue out for a leak I had in my crawl space from a sewage line. They were very respectful of our home wearing booties whenever they walked through and kept the work area clean (the crawl space access is in the home) they explained everything throughly and walked through the hole insurance process with us and all we had to do is pay our deductible. Hopefully we never have a leak again but if we do we will call them out again in a heartbeat.

I called Puget Sound Water Rescue after discovering a leak near the hot water heater in my garage. I saw mold and was immediately terrified because of the horror stories I’ve heard about black mold. I reached Matthew, provided him photos, and within minutes was on the phone with him getting a lesson in mold, black mold, and efforts to eliminate the problem. He was very knowledgeable and patient, and gave me the facts without scaring me to death. He explained the process of what they do to evaluate and remove mold like a true expert, and I didn’t feel like I was being sold on an expensive process I didn’t need. I’m glad I called Puget Sound Rescue and would recommend Matthew and Puget Sound Water Rescue to my friends. In fact, I shared this information on my neighborhood’s website so that my neighbors have someone to call if they suffer water damage or need an inspection.

Matt and his employee were fast, friendly, knowledgeable and very adept at their job. They completed the job faster than expected, and were flexible and easy to work with. Matt has the heart of a teacher. He educated us the whole time he was working, and even answered the questions my 3 year old had for him. After a 3-​week dishwasher leak soaked through the celing below the kitchen, I called Matthew at Puget Sound Water Rescue after finding him on Unilocal and I’m SO GLAD I did. First, he was incredibly diligent and thorough about the work and was super upfront about the situation and what was needed to get the job done. He seamlessly worked with the insurance company to manage all the documentation needed for the claim. Also he set a standard for using chemical– and toxin-​free products to do mold remediation in my home, which is extremely important to me as a person with both allergies and chemical sensitivities. My insurance company was urging me to go with one of the big companies and I spoke with both of them and researched the products they use. Matthew used a natural thyme-​based disinfectant that is completely safe and didn’t activate my symptoms. Highly recommended.

Just sold my house. The inspector was coming Monday and on Saturday afternoon I decided to look in my crawl space. It was a disaster to say the least! I looked on Unilocal and Angie’s list and found puget sound open so I called. I explained my situation to Mathew the owner and he said it would be no problem to come out Sunday to do the job. All new vapor barrier and re-​insulating the crawl space. He said he would call at 8:00 and then give me a quote when he got there. I was extremely happy with this news. Called right on time and was here by 8:30. I was expecting to be quoted thousands, especially since it was Sunday! He quoted $ 1100 for labor and vapor materials. He allowed me to go to Home Depot to buy my own insulation to save some money and help get it done sooner. After it all I cannot be more pleased! Great job, great service! Recommend!!!

My sewer backed up and filled the entire first floor. I found Mathew on Unilocal and Angie’s List. His services were professional, cost effective, and he helped work with the insurance company to make sure I was treated fairly and paid my $ 500 deductible. You could tell he has done this for a long time with the way he explained what needed to be done and would reference a book that is used by professional water damage companies. I will always use Mathew for our water needs.

We had a great experience with Mathew McSheridan from Puget Sound Water Rescue this past week. We were in need of a deep cleaning of the crawl space of our house so we could get some plumbing done and Mathew came out immediately to diagnose and give us a quote. He came in and completed the thorough cleaning with a few hours and showed me all the work that he had done while he was here. He was nice enough to walk us through all the steps of his work and gave us some recommendations for future cleanings. Along the way, he advised us on our rat problems and possible solutions and give us some resources to look into. Affordable price with excellent costumer service. Highly recommend and will definitely use him again for any future work!
