Meet the Business Owner
Melinda B.
Business Owner
I have worked in the customer service industry for over 25 years. I love meeting new people and my relationships with others are extremely important to me. The first fifteen years of my career were spent as a licensed cosmetologist and aesthetician, working for client-centered employers such as Nordstrom, Chanel, Estee Lauder and Sephora.
After a health condition changed my career path, my love for scrapbooking was re-ignited! I worked and taught classes at the Scrapbook Nook from early 2005 until they closed their doors at the end of 2014. Through the years the thought of opening my own store would come and go but it wasn’t until the Nook was closing that I realized that I was not yet ready for this chapter of my life to be behind me.
With the support of my wonderful husband, Bryan, and our two children, Tyler and Katelen, I began to develop the concept for the store. I was excited. I was scared. (With so many local, independent stores closing was I nuts to even consider doing this
