As a massage Therapist I was thrilled to have received a very large massage package from my parents for Christmas. I graduated from school & got my license w/in the past year & had been working hard so to get to be pampered was something I desperately needed & was excited about. However, when I called to book an appointment, the person who took my call(therapist? owner? receptionist?) quickly & let me know that the package was expired(it was not) & that she lost money with this type of transaction. Only after explaining that It was indeed valid & I myself live in the area & would be interested in returning to have more work done in the future AND it was a gift from my Mom & Dad(which was already paid for) she very rudely agreed to honor only 1 of the 5 visits. Well how could I turn that down?(insert sarcasm) How disappointing. I cant even tell my Mom because it would break her heart & I dont want her to feel like she has to purchase me anything else. Too bad for that business b/c as a long-time bartender & fellow LMT, I would’ve tipped like crazy. I cant say what type of experience somebody else would have at this spa(it may be a great place). I’ll never know b/c I will NEVER go there. I have other therapists I would rather pay or trade with. Thanks alot Songs of The Sidhe.
