Our general and cosmetic dentistry office has been in the same location for 30 years. We are a family dental office and treat children and adults. We specialize in cosmetic and implant restorations. Dr Cascio and his staff have a strong commitment to treating our patients in a caring, professional environment. We specialize in delivering gentle dentistry, and welcome the opportunity to work with you in achieving a healthy, bright and happy smile!

Dr. Alan S. Cascio graduated from Georgetown School of Dentistry in 1983 and completed a General Practice Residency Program at Mt. Zion Medical Center in 1984. Since then he has

practiced dentistry at his Kentfield location, where he has an excellent reputation for delivering high quality dental care in a professional, caring environment.

Dr. Cascio has a long history of activity in professional and community organizations. He served on the Board of Directors of the Marin County Dental Society for eight years and as its President in 1992. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Cascio has been a coach for local youth sports and is a proud sponsor of the Kentfield School Foundation and the Ross Valley YES Foundation. Dr. Cascio and his wife Caren have three children. The whole family enjoys sports, hiking and camping.

Just had a cleaning at Cascio’s this week. As always, the folks at Dr. Cascio’s office were warm, welcoming, and thorough. I saw Theresa who exemplifies those characteristics. She is professional but comforting, explains what she’s going to be doing and explains things I don’t understand (like the numbering system for gum health).
Theresa is interested in you not just your oral cavity and wants to get caught up on your life because she really cares. It’s sort of like grabbing a cup of coffee and chatting with a pal, minus the coffee part, plus a lot of floss and some power tools, and occasionally some drooling.

I feel so fortunate to have finally made it into Dr. Cascio’s warm and inviting office after having been away in another country for the past 10 years, where I suffered more than a few dental traumas. To return to the hands of a highly skilled dentist was a relief and even a pleasant experience. His staff is all-​star, which is no surprise really. The best dentists attract the very best dental assistants and staff. I don’t normally ‘yelp’ about anything, but in this instance I felt the need to share the good news. GO THERE.

If you are looking for a first time dentist or looking to replace your current dentist, Dr. Cascio is the man! He is very good at what he does as is his entire staff. A group of really nice people doing first rate work. I have never experienced this level of comfort at a dental office.

Yep I agree awesome dentist as well as staff. Sara cleans my teeth and she is gentle yet thorough. While she’s cleaning my teeth I get to watch the lovely photo’s Dr, Cassio has taken on his many travels. Dr Cassio has created a lovely office that is warm, friendly and very professional.

I am a registered dental hygienist and when I moved to California I was very nervous about finding a good dentist with good dental hygienists. The first dentist we were referred to was awful, quite frankly. Dr. Cascio’s dentistry is second to none and his hygienists are awesome. I would and have referred him to all I know.

I have never tried to find another dentist and never thought to. Dr Cascio is without doubt the best of the best. Extremely friendly and informative, as are his staff. As a testament to his work, over the years, Dr. Cascio and his staff have gone from looking after just me to looking after my family. Kids love him; they feel very comfortable with his team!

Dr. Cascio is such a nice man. The dental hygienists and office staff are amazing. The exam rooms are always clean and well organized. I especially appreciate the fact that they only take digital pictures which means less radiation for my whole family! The prices are a little bit steep but I imagine the cost of running an office in Kentfield with top notch hygienists and state of the art equipment is not cheap. The services are well worth the price. Just as a tip: If you have kids then schedule their appointment on Halloween… The whole office dresses up! My whole family loves Dr. Cascio! I am so happy to have him as our family dentist.

My son and I went to Dr. Cascio for about 6 years (my son from age 6 – 12). He is by far the best dentist I have ever experienced. His hygenists are also excellent. It is clear everyone there loves their work. Teeth cleaning is not painful! What a concept! They have state of the art equipment, and it’s a friendly, kind and fun atmosphere. Dr. Cascio is young at heart and excellent at what he does. We moved so had to stop seeing him. Back to the «normal» dental world of pain and misery… hoping to find another dentist like Dr. Cascio! I don’t have a car, but honestly, we may end up somehow getting out to him even if it takes hours to get there!

I’ve been going to see Dr. Cascio since, well… forever. I must have been about 7 years old when I started, and that was 18 years ago. I can’t say enough good things about his practice. What I can say, though, is that I don’t have a car and live in SF and i STILL make the bus and ferry and bus ride to go see him, even though there are many other great dentists here in San Francisco.
His office has always treated my mother, brother and I like family. I remember one time in in the early 90’s my mother was stuck at work until close to 7pm and he stayed with my brother and me until my mother was able to pick us up.
He’s always carried an endless supply of sugarless lollipops and treated us to free tooth gadgets and even a free electric toothbrush one time!
Anyway, I’m rambling, but this is a great dentist

Heck yeah, 5 stars. I’m not even exaggerating. Dr. Cascio kicks your dentist’s ass.
I’ve gone to him since I had teeth, yo. When you can get a 7-​year-​old booknerd to put down her copy of Encycopedia Brown and preemptively open wide, that’s talent. Gentle, friendly, slightly perspiring talent.
Granted, my pearly whites might be slightly more ecru than ivory. but i have only myself to blame. i should floss more and drink less tea. it’s true.
Bonus: the office holiday cards. Always amusing to see your dentist dressed up as Snow White with the hygentists* as the 7 flossing dwarfs.
* (i don’t see why this word is hygenist. dentist/​hygentist. it rhymes. i’ll stick with it.)
