Organic Airbrush Tanning. Offered at our new Kentfield location as well as private booked appointments at Schnitt Salon in San Francisco and house calls by request. We customized our solutions based on your current skin tone.

All organic tanning or skin care services are by appointment only, so please call or email us for availability.

All at home tanning appointments in: Kentfield, Greenbrae, Ross, San Anselmo, Corte Madera, Larkspur, parts of San Rafael, Mill Valley, Tiburon and Sausalito are $ 65 per session. Further locations have an additional $ 10 and up fee for travel time. Maximum price for at home tanning session is $ 100.

Appointments booked at Schnitt Salon or The Glow Bar are $ 55.

Packages are available.

History

Established in 2009.

From a family of successful beauticians Brigitte has risen from the ranks. The daughter of Alfons and Manuelle Skilandat. Alfons, her father developed his profession and became the talented owner of «Alfons of San Francisco». His career expanded over 18 yrs and in 1990 Ron, her brother joined their fathers’ business where the family dream of a full service spa began.

Ron fulfilled this legacy in 2008 with the creation of «Sync Salon» and is now the proud owner of «Schnitt Salon».

Manuelle Skilandat opened «Alfons Skin Care», the European Day Spa in Mill Valley almost 20 years ago. Brigitte apprenticed here with her mother for several years and soon became certified as an airbrush tanning specialist.

Today Brigitte is a co-​owner of «The Glow Bar» an organic beauty and airbrush tanning boutique that also offers mobile spray tanning services.

Joins her Brother Ron, owner of the well known Schnitt Salon with the Glow bar. She only carries organic tanning solutions and products that are full of botanicals, vitamins and essential oils. Brigitte educates and pampers you with her alternative sun tanning treatment which will leave your skin with spectacular results. Her solutions are free of harsh chemicals and additives that can be found in many other spray tanning solutions being used today. You will go home happy and relaxed with a beautiful and natural glow. «the Glow bar» organic spray tans, give you a golden, sun-​kissed glow without the worries of the damaging UV Rays that come with excessive use of tanning beds and sun exposure.

Brigitte is multilingual in French, German, Spanish and Portuguese. She is committed to treating her clients to an unforgettable experience, filled with luxury and superior service.

Ok, so I had a past really bad spray tan but with my daughters wedding coming up, I opted for a knee length dress. Since it’s November, my legs were a glaring pale shade. So I decided to try Glow Bar. They were very accommodating, helpful and friendly. I had no idea what I was supposed to do and they gave me step by step pre and post spray tan instructions. The results were lovely… a perfect shade and exactly what I was hoping for. I left smelling amazing (orange citrus scent is lovely) and my tan didn’t have a streak or a hint of orange. Really, go here. My next appointment is next week and I can’t wait!

I absolutely love these ladies. Manuelle is probably one of the sweetest, kindest ladies that I have ever met. You lay on her bed for a facial and just melt into pure relaxation. I don’t know how to explain it other then you just trust her. She is so experienced that it all just feels like a dance on your face. I LOVE her facials. So relaxing after a long mommy day. Her daughter Brigitte does tanning and is such a bubbly sweet women! We always have a good chat when she sprays me and the tan just looks perfect every time. She listens to what I am trying to achieve with my tan. This is not a one color fits all place. They have so many different products that they literally make you your own personalized blend, I call it magic potion! I love it and don’t forget to pick a scent. They have so many to choose from. These tans are by far the most natural that I have ever seen. No stinky smells no weird colors or fading just a beautiful tan.
Whether you are in desperate need of a facial or you need a beautiful tan for an event, this is the place to come to. These ladies are true experts at what they do, so thank you the glow bar for making us Marin mommies look so smashing. As Victoria

Brigitte and Melissa are both amazing!!! Incredibly nice and both very good at what they do. I highly recommend this place. Best spray tan I have ever had. I am very fair skinned and it looks so natural. Once you come here I guarantee you will be addicted to it. Makes me look so much better in a bikini (since I don’t like to sunbathe)! 5 plus stars!!!

I’ve been spray tanned before, but had never been to Glow Bar. This was by FAR the best airbrush experience I’ve had thus far. Melissa is awesome, and extremely professional! The girl definitely knows what she’s doing! She was very thorough and detail oriented while applying my ah-​mazing tan. I highly recommend Glow Bar to anyone looking for a little (or a lot) of color… whether it be for a special event, vacation or just for the hell of it… this place is the BEST in the Bay Area! My best friend and I got our spray tans done the day before prom. so as you could guess we were a little nervous. Immediately after meeting Melissa, all the nerves went away completely. All the above reviews are extremely accurate. She made us feel so comfortable and welcomed. She is extremely informed on the spray tan process & great at her job. Totally recommend coming here and had a perfect spray tanning experience. We are also minors & it all went very smoothly so you could definitely send your teens here & feel good about it.

Had a good experience at the Glow Bar. Melissa was really sweet and knowledgable, I felt really comfortable with her judgement. My tan came out nice and even.
The only part that was a little weird was the side of my hands, which had a line from where the tan was applied and not applied too (the palm of my hand). However, this was really only something I could notice and next time I’ll make sure to have Melissa wipe down my hands extra.
Also, my tan color was much more intense than I had anticipated. I did a level 1.5 and this was my first time. I suggested sticking to a 1 if it’s your first one:

I’ve had a couple of spray tans at other places before with iffy results — uneven color, fast fading, weird crackling effect. But the thought of facing L.A. for 10 days with my NorCal complexion made me try again.
Brigitte’s product and service were truly superior. She explained everything about the process in detail (leave some extra time on your first appointment; it’s worth it to become an informed consumer.) She was careful, professional, friendly and efficient. She is very attentive to detail and doesn’t take a «one size fits all» approach. Also, she sold me just the product I needed and didn’t try to push others on me. I followed her maintenance tips and my tan still looked great a full two weeks after spraying. Highly recommended

Perfect spray tan! This is the place to go… I wanted to have a nice tan before my trip to Cabo and chose The Glow Bar after speaking with the owner, Brigitte. She is so kind and very professional and has so much knowledge about her products. She chose just the right color for my skin and I was amazed at how perfect her spraying technique was. She knows how to make your skin look beautiful. Her mother does the facials and has so much experience, too. She was just as wonderful as Brigitte. They both took wonderful care of me. Happy!

I was scared of turning orange or too dark and looking ridiculous, but I found the Glow Bar and their charming spray tanner, Brigitte, who looked after me wonderfully.
The place is spotless, comfortable, welcoming and both Brigitte and the receptionist are lovely. She was very professional, fun to talk to, helpful and very patient! She made me feel very comfortable and gave me the option to bare all or stay in my underwear. I loved how Brigitte looked after little details, like powdering certain parts of your body that sweat the most as to not ruin the tan.
My spray tan lasted for about 3 weeks. Brigitte gave me a lot of tips on how to look after it and they worked!
All in all a great experience, I would definitely go back!

The Glow Bar is a premier spray tanning destination! It is my go to spot before any vacation or just to get my glow on! The products used are phenomenal and best of all organic! I am very pleased to have found The Glow Bar. Convenient, private, and professional. Brigitte is thorough and knowledgeable. She is also very personable and fun to chat with which could not be more important as you stand bathing suit optional in front of her for the entire application!
The result is natural, and for me, lasted even longer than stated. She accommodated my schedule with great flexibility, which I really appreciated. I plan to skip the sun entirely this summer, and The Glow Bar will help me do that!

I got my first spray tan ever by Brigitte and was very impressed! I was a little apprehensive about spray tans in general. I had always thought spray on tans would leave me orange or covered in chemicals. Because I had a 50% off coupon, I decided to give it a try.
I came out feeling like my skin was actually all one shade and tan lines that seemed impossible to get rid of had actually faded. The most surprising part. .. the product actually smells really good! Brigitte was very informative and walked me through the whole process while making me feel totally comfortable. When my tan lines return, I will be back!
