KEW GARDENS, NY
This is a decent neighborhood spot. It’s not exactly my go-​to for wine or alcohol (that would be Zee’s down the street) but I come in here when I want a different selection. In particular, Regent has a nice variety of Italian reds (to which I am partial ;’) at reasonable prices. This will keep me coming back. Otherwise, there’s not much remarkable about the place. It’s good, reliable, the owner is friendly (although I’m not sure he’s as knowledgeable about the wines as I would prefer). He knows what sells, but not much about the wines themselves.
