Established in 2000.

As owner of Ruby Acupuncture & Holistic Healthcare, I have been engaged in healthcare for 25 years as a pharmacist and Chinese Medicine practitioner since 2000. After decades of clinical practice, I firmly believe our body should be viewed as a whole and healing has to address the root cause, treating the whole person rather than isolated symptoms. Using hormone evaluations together with acupuncture/​massage/​herbs, I have success treating many imbalances such as: women & men’s health issues, insomnia, emotional stress, overweight and pain syndromes.

Ruby Shih, LAc., RPh. is a NYS licensed acupuncturist and pharmacist. Drawing from 25 years of experience in Western & Eastern Medicine, she firmly believes in healing the entire person not a collection of symptoms.

Ruby Shih, L.Ac. incorporates Acupuncture with Aromatherapy Massage to treat health imbalances. By using hormone evaluation to assess a global view of terrain, she addresses the root causes of illness.

She graduated from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine with a M. S in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine and post-​graduate training with renown Taoist Dr. Jeffrey Yuan in Classical Acupuncture and Herbology.

Ruby, a longtime practitioner and teacher of Qigong and TaiChiQuan,

co-​founded the Society for Nanlaoshu in Manhattan in 1988 and is currently the Vice President of the Board of Directors
