Stop-N-Go Chicken

Only have ordered from here once, but the delivery was prompt and they even called to inform me they didn’t have some choices I selected on Seamless as sides. Got a whole chicken which came chopped up into chunks. Nothing special, close to your typical $ 5 grocery store to-​go types. Makes for a quick cheap dinner fix however!

This place is close to home and always perfect after a hard day and no time to cook. Mac and Cheese is always a good choice.

This four star is relative to other chicken spots similar to it but the chicken was surprisingly flavorful and the rice was pretty good as well. The guy was quick to help and it was very cheap as well. If you’re hungry in the Union Turnpike area and want a cheap grub definitely recommend this spot.

I ordered my food at 4:30 p.m., and it arrived at my door at 4:42 p.m. I was instantly concerned. I ordered a half chicken with vegetable rice and a greek salad, a side of mac n cheese, and grilled corn. The corn was atrocious. It was completely dry and shriveled — was not made any time recently. I would rather have waited for my food and received FRESHLY GRILLED corn. The Greek salad was pretty good; standard. The mac n cheese was lacking salt. I was pretty excited for it after reading the reviews, but frankly, it was just okay. The chicken was also okay, but would have benefited from seasoning. Overall, it seems that they are afraid to season their food. I liked the vegetable rice. They also sent over some flat bread with my order, which was alright. The chicken came with two types of sauce; a spicy red sauce, and a BBQ sauce. The red sauce was pretty good. Couldn’t tell if the BBQ sauce came from a jar or not, but it was pretty runny. It didn’t stick to the chicken the way a good BBQ sauce does. To be honest, I was dreaming of Tu Casa sauces the entire time. I wouldn’t necessarily say that I wouldn’t order from here again, but Tu Casa is undoubtedly still my first chicken go-​to place. Prices here are really good.

Good chicken. It’s better than the place around the corner. It’s more flavorful and they have many more side dishes and sauce options. The spicy is quite nicey! Good salad. I will be back for sure.

This place is delicious and the staff here is very friendly. The chicken and all the sides are good especially the Mac n cheese. This is a must try

Stop-​N-​Go Chicken is a popular lunch spot for people working around the Union Turnpike-​Kew Gardens E/​F station. This place keeps it simple: They have tasty chicken specials under $ 10. Most people get a half or quarter chicken deal with two sides, such as mixed vegetables, yucca, lemon potatoes or a small salad. For 50 cents more you can add a pita to your meal. They also have chicken kebabs, which is what I usually order, along with two sides.
They don’t have a wide variety of salad dressings. Occasionally have a really good tzatziki sauce that seems to only be available once a full moon. I would come here more frequently if they consistently offered the tzatziki.

I ask for my chicken to be Juicy because sometimes (1 out of 9 can be a bit dry).
I still find this chicken to be addictive they flavor it so well I love it and to have BBQ corn and Mac and cheese any day is amazing.
ive been here since they opened and divided from the chicken spot on the corner on kew gardens road, the benefit is that here you can seat down on the queens bldv. I never do but I love the options they go. I also love the plantains but the sweet potatoes, mac and cheese are my favorite and the greek salad.

This place is really tasty and the people there are very nice. It is a whole in the wall gem! I tried it out today and definitely will come back for more! The chicken there has a lot of favor and the chicken pieces were juicy! the side dishes are large, I had to take mine home.

I kept seeing them on seamless & wanted to order but I was worried that I wouldn’t like it or I’d be disappointed.
I ordred a whole chicken with two sides & soda. I also ordered a side of mac & cheese because it wasn’t an option for the sides that came with the combo (too bad it should be) chicken comes sitting on top of pita bread.
The chicken is well seasoned, well cooked (like char grilled) and comes with a sauce on the side that seems like homemade bbq sauce. It’s flavorful & has a kick to it.
The veggie rice is ok. Reminds me of a boxed rice but it was fine (I asked for chicken rice but was sent veggie v rice)
The mac & cheese is the real deal, it is the baked kind oozing with creamy cheesiness. I loved it.
The delivery was super fast as well. I was expecting it in a half hour and it arrived in 20 minutes.
I’m getting hungry thinking about this food. I’d definitely order again.

The chicken is really good. Fast service when your ordering in person, however they are really slow with deliveries. I had to wait up to 45 minutes once. Also, the guy taking the orders (owner) usually rushes and has a nasty attitude. Other than that the food is worth a try.

Delicious chicken… moist and tender with great flavor. The rice was really good as well. The hot sauce, although not spicy complimented the meal of chicken, rice, veggies and pita bread. I definitely recommend this place.

This chicken shack is ok, it’s a good place to get some chicken, especially if your interested in getting something else instead of the normal food in the area. For $ 9 you get half a chicken two sides and a soda. So it’s up to you if you believe that’s an ok price. Again the chicken is ok but nothing out of this world.

This place opened about 2 years ago in competition with the place on Kew Gardens Road by the Q10 bus stop near the subway. Menu is similar, but this place has more sides & salads. The other big difference is that this place delivers. Delivery service was lousy when they first opened, but much better now. Would be great if they had the mustard sauce from the other place.

This place is so good. I’ve come for lunch and dinner. The food is consistent tasting and service is really quick. It’s more of a take-​out place although there are some seats inside to eat in. I really like their spinach rice and that they have different choices of salads. On a typical day they have three different types of rice, some fried veggies, corn, veggies, mac and cheese (goes fast during lunch), etc for their sides. Choose from a ¼, ½ or a whole chicken. Sometimes on Weds and Fridays they have salmon. They also have corn on the cob (not so great) and spinach pie.

This place has the best value and the best tasting chicken in Queens. Where else can you get half a chicken and two sides along with pita bread and a soda for $ 9.00.
This place is amazing. The chicken comes with bbq sause or hot sause. Hands down the best chicken in Queens. The only negitive thing is they do not accept credit cards. I hope that changes.
