History

Established in 2012.

Two South American immigrants, Alberto Robayo and Ricardo Bayona, founded MILOKI FLOW in 2012. They moved to Los Angeles, CA in 2005 leaving behind the security of well paying corporate jobs to follow their passion for Gracie Jiu Jitsu.

Alberto and Ricardo joined the Gracie Academy in Torrance, CA as blue belts.

After a few years of rigorous training they became Gracie Jiu Jitsu instructors.

Twelve years of training and 5 years of teaching later they received their Black Belts from the hands of Grand Master Rorion Gracie, creator of the UFC and oldest son of Grand Master Helio Gracie, founder of Gracie Jiu Jitsu.

During their journey and due to many injuries they realized that health comes before anything you want to accomplish in life. They began to search for the perfect combination of elements and practices, hoping to reach and sustain a healthy, balanced lifestyle. MILOKI FLOW was created as a product of this search, integrating Gracie Jiu Jitsu, Yoga and Functional Movement.

Ricardo is very passionate about Jiu-​Jitsu, he has been training and teaching for over a decade with the Gracie family in Beverly Hills, California, before he decided to open up his own location in Miami Florida in the island of Key Biscayne.

Business manager, photographer and Jiu-​Jitsu enthusiast –Ricardo will not only show you how to defend yourself but also a healthy lifestyle.
