Amazing good quality food definitely keys atmosphere the lobster bisque great along with the conch chowder the specials of the day were very good definitely have to go back

If you are looking for «not your everyday seafood» place to eat, this is the place. Their regular menu along with the seasonal specials will not disappoint you. There is something for everyone even if you don’t want seafood. Been coming to the Key Largo area for 3 years and we always make sure to come here. This is a must place to stop and eat at. The selection of local beers is also great.

I would give it 3.5 if I could. Although the décor is wonderfully Florida Keys — the menu is definitely unique and creative but the Key Lime pies was so-​so boring. I had the macadamia encrusted Mahi panini which was soggy from the pineapple salsa. It was good but not great for sure. I also ordered the award wining conch fritters which won no awards with me. The batter was tasty but they were over cooked. The sauce was like a glorified tarter sauce with a little zing.
Perhaps the lunch cook is still in the apprentice stage because I wasn’t impressed.
Love the ambiance though.

The service is GREAT… Conch Fritters were some of the best. The hint of curry want you craving another bite. Conch Ceviche was fresh. Mahi tacos were the best I ever had.

My wife and I dined here several months ago while in the Keys. I won’t say that this trip was built around having dinner here again, but it was definitely a big part that we looked forward to. Again, we were delighted with the choices we both made! The conch fritters were absolutely devine. I ordered the Island Tropical Seafood dish which was local hogfish, shrimp, scallops, papaya and red grapes simmered in coconut milk, curry and spices served over Jasmine rice and plantains. My wife had the fresh catch of the day which was snapper rolled in coconut and macadamia nuts backed and then drizzled with an orange glaze. We are fortunate that this place is 100 miles from home because I could easily eat myself to death!
Cudos to the chef and wait staff!

So the food here is just the perfect end to any day at the beach. The only thing better than the food here is the service. The waiters are knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and professional. That’s just the cherry on top to the excellent food that is neither under nor over seasoned. My favorites so far are the cracked conch, lobster ceviche, and crab cakes. You really can’t go wrong with anything here though.

Stopped here breakfast on our way back to the mainland. I Unilocaled breakfast places around Key Largo and this one got pretty good reviews. As we drive into the parking lot we see two police cars. Now you know a place is really good when locals and the police officers go here ;)
I ordered the conch omelette with ham and it was really delicious. The tomatoes and herbs were fresh and it tasted like home-​made. The waitress was also really nice and we didn’t have to wait long.
The only thing is that the location, although convenient when passing through Key Largo, is right at the highway so if you want to sit outside expect loud noises.

Headed North on US 1 and passed the place. It was worth the U-​turn.
I had the sampler platter. The crab cake and fried shrimp was the best. We both had the lobster bisque after reading reviews here and while tasty, wasn’t very hot.
My girlfriend had the mahi mahi with avocado which was very good.
The keylime pie was nothing to complain about.
Seating on the outside porch was nice with a cool breeze and birds chirping. Very nice experience.

Wow… Where to begin? Honestly best Seafood we’ve ever had (Coconut-​Macadamia Nut Pink Shrimp), excellent Sangria and the service was the best part! We LOVED this adorable restaurant.

Great conch fritters and conch salad! Their brunch is great too. Cute little place that’s been on TV a few times, definitely worth the hype in my opinion.
They also have great coffee, and I definitely recommend the conch eggs Benedict for brunch!

After a long day of snorkeling we decided to go here on the recommendation of one of my restaurant apps. The place is hard to find, but once we found it we were expecting a good feast.
Arriving at the restaurant i was immediately sketched out, even considered leaving but I said all those reviews couldn’t be wrong and we were starved. What I liked immediately wad that they are dog friendly… super bonus!
We chose to sit outside and I was immediately taken back to what felt like an old southern porch at a friend’s house, with a great tropical iced tea freshly brewed and so delicious.
We ordered the Havana, grilled grouper with crab cakes, conch fritters, and key lime pie.
Omfg…
OUTSTANDING is what this meal was!
Fish was frezh, flaky and cooked perfectly, pork was tender, flavorful and spiced perfectly. The key lime pie was smooth, silky and literally melted in your mouth. The fritters, omfg so damn good. My biggest regret… I don’t live no where near such a phenomenal place and will need to wait until next year!

My husband wanted to try this place out being that we always frequent another place when we come down to the keys. I wasn’t blown out the water with the food but I like the little cottage feel they have. Service was nice and everyone that worked there was real nice to my family.
Will I come back? No. But my husband and oldest daughter said that they will probably stop in on their way back from fishing.

Stopped for breakfast and lunch while on my short weekend dive trip and this place delivered. I want to get away from all the people that «have to eat on the water» down here. Both times i had great service and good food.

FYI — My boyfriends been coming to his family vacation home since 1976 and never tried Conch House. We’ve been talking about going and even figured out how to get there via the golf cart but, never made the time to dine. I am so happy we FINALLY tried you.
I will go so far as to say — Amazing food! Hands down the BEST seafood in Largo. We finally decided to try it when some friends, who are Vegan/​Vegetarian, came to visit. Well, as I’m sure most places would do best to accommodate; The Conch House has a couple of Vegetarian curry dishes on the menu. I had the conch ceviche as an app & the Snapper Matecumbe (spellings off sorry) style and my boyfriend had a curry meatball app & the blackened dolphin — DE-​LISSSSHH-​OUS!!! Our vegan friends enjoyed a strawberry-​something salad & pleasantly pleased with the curry. Sorry, I can’t be more specific. I didn’t plan on being «wowed» so I didn’t take notes or a picture.
The atmosphere is lovely. It’s an adorable old house-​turned-​restaurant. Nice amount of dining space outside — bring mosquito repellent. Not too big inside.
My only critique is the vino selection. With such amazing flavors, executed flawlessly on the food menu, why do you limit my dining experience with such a «blah» wine list? Maybe Largo isn’t ready for wine parings…
All in all — I highly recommend the Conch House to any traveler, local or snow bird. Keep you eyes out for the flags or you’ll miss it. It’s behind lots of tropical trees & foliage.
We have FOUND a new Go-​To dinner SPOT! Will be back again. Want to make this place a new family tradition and I hope your around long enough so we can bring the grand-​kids some day!

Best food in the keys. Period! My wife and I were on our honeymoon that started in key west and ended in key largo. We ate at a bunch of different places. All were pretty tasty, but the conch house was by far the best– best entrée, best dessert and best coffee even. If you’re in the area you have to stop by– you won’t regret it!!!
Just a side note we ate dinner and breakfast there. Dinner was conch fritters, and crab stuffed mahi. Dessert was the coconut key lime cake. Breakfast was coffee– expresso, and café con leche along with crab cake benedict. Dessert with breakfast was the key lime pie!

I came here for my 30^th birthday meal by recommendation of my cousin who used to visit the Keys quite frequently and she hailed from South Florida. This was conventionally located from my hotel room too, so all was working quite well for our night out. We opted to dine on the patio which was super wonderful and not too chilly considering it was early February.
The seafood dinners we had were super fresh and delicious. Neither my friend John nor I really had any idea just how good it was going to be until we sunk our teeth into the meals. Mine was kind of heavy which I ended up giving him a good helping of, but despite me not able to kill it — I did appreciate the healthy portion of lobster tail and seafood options in the dish.
Did I say key lime pie? It was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo freaking good. It was my first key lime pie that I had in the Keys and probably the most memorable. It is house-​made created daily. I say created because this was indeed an amazing creating that cannot be replicated in quality. We had key lime pie several times in the short time we visited the Keys, but sometimes perfection is done the first time and this took the cake… er… pie!
Service was good. Everyone was nice. No complaints to be had.
I’d recommend coming here again for sure. It wasn’t total perfect enough for a 5 star, but it is close enough that if I came here again with a 4.5 ratinng… I highly doubt it would take much to earn that last extra half mark.

First place we had lunch at in the Keys and had conch fritters for the first time at this location… I have to say that I’m not a huge fan of conch fritters but everything else I had there was fantastic. My husband and I had hogfish tacos, coconut shrimp and shared a key lime pie to share.
PROS: Nice ambiance (cozy looking home converted into a restaurant), conveniently located on the Overseas Hwy, easy to find

As all things go for conch and island flavors this place pulls it off very well.
The sampler performed beautifully.
The conch ceviche winner, winner. Bold. Flavorful. Lemony. Crunchy. Delish.
The crab cake was nice but I moved past that real quick. Same with the conch fritters. However, those had curry powder which was offset well with one of the three sauces on the plate — an orange marmalade. A bit oily and the curry was strong but it was ok.
The coconut shrimp, superstar. Milky with fresh coconut. Cooked to perfection, probably the best I’ve had. Dunked that right into the orange marmalade. Outstanding. Wish there was more.
There was Panko fried fish on the plate which was solid. Excellently done. Tasteful. Wanting more.
The other thing we ordered was the special which was blackened yellowtail with pineapple salsa and fried green plantain.
The dish made sense. However the salsa needs some finesse. For me the scallion or onion on it brought down the pineapple. But the fish was cooked to perfection. And so were the plantains. As a whole fish I wish there was a sauce that tied it together.
The food overall was yummy. I wish the servers would smile. Hence the one less star. And the one less star for the special.

Ducked in to meet a local realtor and talk digital media marketing and video production and it was a fine time, here’s why:

I enjoyed the Spicy Cajun Omelet, which the menu indicates is the most popular. $ 9.95 is a «spicy andouille sausage, green peppers, onions, and tomatoes, sauteed in olive oil, and sprinkled with pepperjack cheese and spicy seasoning» omelet that comes with toast and potatoes.
I liked the omelet. It probably has what most people would consider the right amount of heat. I could’ve used it spicier. My wheat toast was dry and the potatoes where unremarkable. I will return to try the Conch Omelet.
The place is cute and quaint and has outdoor seating which is pleasant this time of year.

Had a lovely meal here when we stopped off on our drive down to Key West after finding it recommended in our Lonely Planet book. We received a warm welcome and received great service from our server.
We started with drinks, I had the Key Lime Mimosa & my husband ordered a beer. The mimosa was one of the best I’ve ever drank, delicious.
My husband and I ordered the daily special which was blackened trigger fish with BLT in a wholewheat wrap and the coconut macadamia mahi mahi panini. Both were absolutely delicious! I would recommend both dishes, they have a great menu and everything sounded so good.
We couldn’t leave without having their Key Lime Pie — also amazing, we ate it up in minutes.
This restaurant has been featured on several tv programs, including Man Vs Food. I would definitely recommending stopping by for food. The place has a great charm about it.
