Recently, I broke the right mirror completely off of my 2009 Suzuki Hayabusa while in Key West (dont ask lol). I stopped in to get a new mirror since I felt naked riding without it. They didnt have one in stock and ordering one in did not work with my timeframe. I saw that they had a new Hayabusa on the showroom floor, so I asked if it would be ok to take the one off the showroom Busa and I would pay for both the mirror and the double labor install (on mine and on the showroom Busa). I wasnt really expecting them to do it, truth be told. The general manager ok’d it and I was on my way in less than 20 minutes ! Thank you Riva South ! I appreciate the great customer service !

Sure write a good review for the sales team you retards. You paid at last 3 — 5k more then further north. Prices were 30% higher then 45 minutes north. Don’t know why people buy here when the price is so much higher then a little north.
Try deal with service, you will be cursing in no time.
Managers were lazy and rude at best.

I went in a bit worried from previous Unilocal reviews. So glad I decided to give this store a chance. They treated me fairly, paid me for my motorcycle trade a bit over what two other dealers north in broward would have, and I was extremely happy with what my cost was on a new yamaha FZ. The thing I am most happy about is that I rode up from Miami and actually felt relieved at how nice it was to deal with Jose Mir-sales…Jenna –finance and even the GM Neil Harrington who took the time to come over and make sure I was happy with everything. I am one happy customer and damned glad I took the drive to Riva in Key Largo!

I had some issues with Riva south but they have corrected them and apologize. I wish I did not have the problems I did but they were very respectful when making the corrections. They came to key west and picked up my ski and once the repairs were made they delivered it to my front door. If they had treated me as well at the beginning I would have given them five stars. So there is no confusion they do not normally pick up for repairs.

The only thing this place has going for it is the convenience for the people down the keys, instead of driving to Miami. (If you are willing to deal with some bs). The customer service from the start was terrible I was more of an inconvenience then a customer. My trailer hubs were not greased, I found that out when they were red hot when I got home. Just now getting my trailer tags and registration after 3 months. They have no clue about the recalls on the ski and every time I called I felt like I was talking to a smart ass teenager who just got grounded (multiple people).

Everyone is entitled to there own opinions, but I had a great experience with Riva of Key Largo. I purchased an R1 and my sales guy Jose Mir was not only knowledgeable but patient. He even went all out to work with me on my trade in to make the purchase happen. Jenna in Finance was a pleasure to deal with, she was polite and broke everything down for me. If purchasing another bike was in my future my first stop would be to this store.

I didn’t want to listen to the reviews so decided to give them i chance anyways. BIG MISTAKE, spoke to nick and he was really rude, i mean, he even gave me an attitude because he didn’t know why on there website they advertise free 3 yr warranty on the yamaha fzs. It was more snottiness from him but just avoid yourself the headaches.

I bought a boat from Riva in Key Largo. Actually, the sales process went reasonably well, and, after grinding through negotiations, I felt the price of the boat was fair. Delivery of the boat was uneventful. After a few rides on the boat over many months (our primary home is not in Key Largo), it became clear that the fuel gauge was inoperative, showing «full» all the time. I went to the dealer to communicate the problem, and I was told the boat was no longer under warranty, even though the boat had less than 20 hours. (It is an ownership-​time thing.) I argued that there was zero evidence that the fuel gauge EVER worked on this brand new boat (Costing $ 40,000+), but that it took time to conclude that due to limited use. «Too bad,» was, in effect, their answer. They said I could bring in the boat, and they would look at it, though the work would be at full service rates. Problem with that: I keep the boat on a hoist; I have no trailer nor tow vehicle. Well, that meant that a «service call» for a whopping EIGHT MINUTE drive to my dock would cost the minimum $ 150. Seeing no better choice, I scheduled the visit. The service manager – a decent guy but seeming like he was doing me a big favor – came to the boat, pulled out the sensor to show me that, by moving the float on the sensor, the fuel gauge did work… at least when the sensor was manipulated manually. When he reassembled the sensor, it failed to show the known (less than full) fuel level. The conclusion: I was correct that the device didn’t work properly, and that «there must be some flash in the molding of the fuel tank or some other obstruction. Bring the boat in for a full evaluation and fix.» He was considerate enough to only charge me $ 75 instead of $ 150 for the visit. Yet, I was paying money for a problem on a brand new boat that hadn’t been fixed and the proposed in-​shop service would cost me more. This was obviously not a great result for me. After a while of manually tracking fuel use, I have contacted a known, independent boat mechanic whom I will pay to fix the darn thing. Net: I don’t feel that Riva took «ownership» of a clear problem (that they verified) on a brand new boat purchased from their dealership. I cannot recommend them.

Totally suck! I brought my son’s jet ski during a trip to the keys and after a week at their shop they still hadn’t diagnosed the issue. Charges me $ 130.00 and told me they had to pay their employees. I asked them to give me something in writing and they handed me a copy of the work order with the mechanics handwritten note. Bunch of garbage. I will never come here again.

Someone rear ended our jet ski, totaled the trailer and our progressive boat division adjuster suggested riva south. Towed both damaged jet ski and trailer to the shop, 2 weeks later gave an estimate to fix the cracked hull and gave brand new trailer. It’s fined then found out they outsourced the fiber glass work to Larry Louche in key largo. About a month later Riva service writer Randy said the ski is fixed up and they towed from key largo to Delray Beach, great, the driver arrived on my drive way in Delray Beach and forgot to tow the jet ski. 3 days later after 1 month and 1 week the ski was back. To the least it was under the tree shade fiber glass worked performed to the hull, called back the insurance for warranty work, another month at the Riva South. Got it back, hull was better, paint over spray all over half top of the jet ski on the bumper side molding, seats, steering wheel and hood. Called Eric the service guy at Riva the following day, he promised to call me with his retarded co worker Randy, but after 2 weeks no communication what so ever! I have to call my progressive insurance again for the warranty works! At all cost I would not ever do any business with them. I was thinking to trade in with 2013 seadoo rxp but no way in hell they get a penny from me. Nice doing business with you retards! Both my own progressive boat division insurance adjuster Raul and riva south, sucked balls!

No idea of how to handle a customer. I am not sure how to describe them: rude, cocky, uninformed about their products & over priced. These guys could care less about you unless your ready to buy a top of the line product. If you want an entry level scooter, ATV, motorcycle or boat — all they want to to is take your money and hand over the cash. They have no desire to talk with you or help you make a purchase.
Like anywhere else, it may have been the employees that I interacted with, but, the salesman, and acting manager, were nothing short of a unhelpful.
Recommend going elsewhere.

I’m surprised about all these one star reviews. These guys were awesome to me. I’m in the military and came down to Miami for two months of training before eploying. So, I figured what a better time to learn how to ride? A buddy and I came down to Riva south to look at bikes. i was looking into more of a sport bike while he was looking for more a cruiser. He ended up getting a Yamaha Raider from a private party. I picked up a little Ninja from them. The sales guys were pretty chill and straight forward. They joked around with us, but took care of things quickly.
Their selection is pretty decent, although they split the store between bikes and wave runners/​boats, so it can get a bit busy. The lot is also easy to find, located on the right sight of Overseas Highway if you’re heading south, towards Key West.

My wife and I went in to Riva South looking for a motorcycle for her to learn to ride on. We were happy to find a bike that suited her needs. The price was more than fair and the sales staff were outstanding. They answered all of our questions and didn’t pressure us into buying something we weren’t looking for.
I have had my motorcycle serviced at this dealership and have been very happy with their service.
The next time I am in the market for a new bike, I will come to Riva South first.

Diagnosed a problem with my seadoo which would require approx $ 500 in parts and four hours labor. The work quote totaled just south of $ 3000. So that would be $ 600 per hour for labor. Yeah, right. Then they said they couldn’t guarantee their work because they might lose a screw somewhere into the engine and ruin it. What a joke. I feel sorry for anyone who pays their exaggerated prices.

I have had mixed experiences here, first they take my waverunner to work on it, keep it for months and not actually get anything done; finally claiming that we never gave them the okay to work on it. Once they did get around to working on it, they found that they would have to replace almost the whole engine for a grand total of $ 7000.
The good part is when we told them not to fix it, they only charged us $ 100 for the labor they already did. So while they are insanely slow, and incompetent, they are at least honorably. If you can, head up to Riva north, never had problems with them.

I can’t tell you how much they suck.
Seriously, I have anger management issues and I will get pissed and throw something at the computer.
I can give you a glimpse.
They are so stereotypical that if you bring your waverunner in for one thing, they are going to tell you there are 10 things wrong with it.
Unfortunately for them, my family has had waverunners since the 80’s and my dad used to be a mechanic. He can call them on their BS.
If they say something will be done by next weekend, expect it to be ready next month.
Expect them to overcharge.
Expect them to give you rude service, and for the employees not to have any communication between each other so that the left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing.
For any Miami ATV/​Motorcycle/​Waverunner enthusiasts reading this, you might be a little surprised or dubious of my review.
That is because Riva North, located in Pompano, is a great place.
I agree, but the South location sucks.
And I am basing this on more than one encounter.
