Lisa Wetzel and Buff Fassino-​Midling, co-​owners of Shear Paradise, have a working relationship that spans 22+ years. After working for other salons, they finally decided to venture out on their own 5 years ago, to open Shear Paradise Hair and Nail Salon in Key Largo. After open only 3 months, Shear Paradise was voted Best New Business and one of the Best Salons in the Upper Keys People’s Choice Awards. After being voted one of the best for 4 years running, Shear Paradise took the top spot as The Best Salon/​Spa in November 2010.

Business Owner

Lisa Wetzel, a resident of Key Largo, Florida for 22 years, is one of the owners of the award winning salon, Shear Paradise. A stylist for over 27 years, Lisa is a Redken Certified Colorist, who studied in NYC at the Redken Exchange. Originally from Charleston, SC, Lisa grew up in Georgetown, SC and went to cosmetology school in Myrtle Beach. Before moving to the Keys, Lisa was a manager for Regis Hair Styling in Monroe, NC.

Lisa specializes in haircoloring, highlighting and glazing, keratin smoothing treatments, razor cutting and styling.
