History
Established in 2012.
Glazed was opened in April of 2012 by Jonathan and Megan Pidgeon. After looking for locations for over a year a bare shop at 420 Eaton Street was finally vacant. Once three months of construction and recipe taste testing (by the local fire and police departments) were done Glazed was ready to open on April 8th.
Starting November 2012 Glazed Donuts began producing ice cream, sorbet, Ice cream/sorbet pops and other frozen novelties. Continuing with the trend of producing everything in house (including the sprinkles) all ice cream and sorbet is produced from scratch.
Meet the Business Owner
Megan P.
Business Owner
Megan graduated from The Culinary Institute of America in 2007. She worked for James Beard award winning pastry chefs in New York City and the Napa Valley at Park Avenue Café and Redd, respectively. After a cheese making hiatus with Jasper Hill farms in Vermont Megan moved to Key West where she owns and operates Glazed along with her charming husband.
