Key West Ghost & Mysteries Tour

We love to enjoy a ghost tour while on vacation. We learn about the history of the location and any paranormal activity associated with the area.
Susan did a wonderful job touring us around to the various locations and telling us about the history of each location.
We did get some great orbs on our photos and can see why Key West is one of the top 3 haunted places to visit.

Complete waste of time, the tour guide was brand new and did not know alot of the historical facts and a majority of the time i was pointing at buildings with a laser pointers to get temperature readings of attics and getting eating alive by mosquitos… not worth any money unless your into taking strolls around the streets looking at houses smh.

I thought this was super fun. I’m big into the ghost hunters craze (no, I’ve never seen a ghost) and really wanted to try this. My boyfriend and I decided on this one based on reviews. It’s about 1.5−2 hours and starts at 9pm. Be prepared to walk! You walk all around Duval Street and check out some great historic buildings. Our tour guide Susan was extremely knowledgeable and very excited about haunted Key West. You learn some really great history about the city and see some cool landmarks. They encourage you to take photos in hopes of catching an orb and Susan provided us with examples of photos that had been taken at each stop. I didn’t catch a photo of a ghost, however a couple of people in our group had some very intriguing photos.

This was plain out a waste of time and money. I learned absolute nonsense. I thought this could be some interesting history. Instead, it was about holding copper rods, and taking photos with a phone looking for ghosts. Skeptics be damned, «southernmost Ted» will gladly publicly shame you and ask you to be quiet as he takes his job very seriously. Seriously taken, I believe in the almighty dollar. So f that Ted, no tip for you. This was awful. 0 stars

Excellent tour, learned so much information! Susan was excellent. She took extra time to give us even more stories and really knows her stuff. Highly recommend! Very spooky.

Over all they gave an effort.
The hard seats were uncomfortable on the entire bus ride. I was unlucky enough to sit near a window that did not go down. It did however go up further and there was no fan or ac to help with the heat even at night it was hot and muggy.
As a romantic date I would say this is not even close. It seemed like we were more waiting for th excitement t or it to be over…

If I could give this 0 stars I would. I have traveled quite a bit and have been on multiple ghost tours. This tour was cheesy and completely unbelievable. Ted was hands down the worst tour guide I have ever come across. Do not dare to so much as whisper to a neighbor while he is asking you to look around else be called out in front of the group for talking. I understand if people interrupt the tour; however, he would not allow questions or skepticism whatsoever. There is no doubt that I will never again take a tour with this company while this tour guide, Ted, is employed.

After reading the reviews on this tour I thought it would be fun to try it. It was me and my bf and another couple. We were greeted by Ted who was really nice and you could tell this guy was passionate about his job and the tour which is great but the tour was really just walking around to different spots and telling us stories and showing us pictures with orbs in a binder he has. He did whip out some metal L shaped gadgets and a recording device to track ghosts but there really wasn’t anything going on. It’s super cheesy and you’re just walking and standing for like 10 – 15 mins at each location and listening to stories 2 of these locations are like parking lots. I lost interest and can’t believe it had such good ratings. Not worth your time or money.

I took this tour late July with my wife and her cousin. We’ve done our fair share of ghost tours for some reason so we kinda had an idea how this would go. We also were worried because we had a bad experience on a terrible tour before. Our guide, Susan, immediately made us feel welcomed. She was nice and was not a rookie. As the tour went on, Susan would give us tidbits about certain stories and legends associated with each building on the tour. We also ended up by a church that was where a bigger cemetery was once and supposedly gets a lot of activity. She had some contraption that moved a bit when a certain energy was around. It was neat to see since we had never seen that before. We had a bad experience once with «ghost hunters» using terrible equipment on a tour. None of that here!
Overall we left feeling the tour was well put together and mapped out nicely. Susan did a great job with us.

We had a great time on this tour! We were there on a Thursday night and apparently this is really popular tour because we were split into 2 groups. At first we were a little disappointed because the other group got Ted who we had read a lot about on Unilocal,but after a little bit of time with our guide Susan, the disappointment was gone, she was really great. She was a fabulous story teller, and seemed really interested in the subject, like this isn’t just a job for her and she wasn’t reading from a script. I got the impression she went into more detail than the usual guides would. She showed respect for the spirits and subjects of the stories, which was also nice to see. This is not a «ghost hunting» tour but they do take a few minutes out to try to interact with the spirits. Most of the tour is just listening to ghost stories and learning some history about the island, which is what I like in a Ghost Tour. The walking itself is easy and at a leisurely pace with many, many stops to listen to the guide and check out the area. I have done other ghost tours in Key West and this was better by far, I get why they are so highly rated on Unilocal.Whether you are a believer or not (I’m undecided, haha), you should have a good time on this tour.

Great tour Southermost Ted the tour guide was great. I was scared and jumped up a few times. Had a blast.

After reading reviews of other companies on this site that also do ghost tours of Key West, I decided to go with this one after reading great reviews on TripAdvisor. It seems no Unilocalers had gotten to this company yet so I am honored to be the first to review!
I reserved a ghost tour on the last night of our stay in Key West. I am happy I didn’t do it sooner because most of the places our guide, Yvonne (sp.?), took us to see were on the route we had walked all week! It was funny how I had noticed some things about some of the spots we had walked by and then they were on the tour-​freaky!
We got a great history lesson of Key West and some of its old ‘haunts’ and bizarre stories. I thought our guide did a great job and she was very approachable and enthusiastic about the topic. Some other companies were listed as being very hokey overly dramatic — this was not the case with Key West Ghost & Mystery Tour — it was more like a friend telling you ghost stories and personal encounters they have had — which I find all the more creepier!
We had a great time — I still didn’t get enough courage to visit Robert the Doll on my own — I think it is better he does not know me.
I would have given 5 stars for the tour if I knew what other tours were like — maybe on a future visit I will get to compare.
