History
Established in 2015.
Being a transplant to Hawaii from Los Angeles years ago, I can truly say that I have found paradise. After having two wonderful children, my wife and I decided it was time to contribute back to the Island Ohana that has been so giving to us.
We decided to start Hopper with these guiding principles in mind — convenience, choice, value, and hospitality. We believe in professionally delivering only the best product to your doorstep. Whether it is an intimate dinner for one or catering for one hundred, we will deliver!

In 1997, after working in the food and beverage industry since the age of 12, Jacques moved to Los Angeles and began work at Mark Peel and Nancy Silverton’s, Campanile restaurant. Making his way up the ranks quickly, in 1998 he achieved the title of Assistant General Manager. At Campanile, Jacques was also instrumental in receiving the highly esteemed «James Beard Award» for «Best Restaurant in America for 1999».
Jacques’ focus then turned to the «World Famous Sunset Strip» by accepting a key position with Innovative Dining restaurant group. He first helped to oversee the construction and opening Katana Restaurant in late 2000 and until August of 2006 served as General Manager of Boa Steakhouse in the Grafton Hotel on Sunset.
Immediately after Jacques spent four months in various Wolfgang Puck restaurants nation-wide and from 2006 until 2013 ran operations as General Manager at Spago restaurant in the Four Seasons Resort Maui, Hawaii.
