History

Established in 1996.

Nineteen years ago, Maui Tunes Entertainment & Productions (MTEP) was born out of necessity. Here on Maui, life moves a little slower than on the mainland and the list of corporate, party DJ’s and entertainment, was non-​existent. Maui was just getting started. Today, we have stepped up to answer the call for high quality Entertainment & Productions without the sting of high-​end pricing. MTEP has provided entertainment on five of the seven main Hawaiian Islands. We have entertained for groups as small as ten and as large as 3,000, We offer entertainment for children of all ages, families, and of course adults. We work with destination management companies (DMC’s) from the mainland to create productions perfect for their clients needs.

On the weddings side, we have entertained for over 2,500 events, both domestic and international. We work with many of the local vendors to give our clients the «wedding of a lifetime» while staying within their budget guidelines.

With a background in Hotel management, Alan’s experience and professionalism in working with people is an asset that has helped him achieve the level of success that he enjoys today. As a father of two grown children and a husband of over 30 years, Alan knows and understands the meaning of family and teamwork.

Now, with over 2,500 events and 19 years of experience in the entertainment field, Alan is one of Maui’s most requested and versatile DJ/​MC/​Entertainers for the numerous high-​end, celebrity weddings and corporate events throughout the State of Hawaii. Alan has traveled to Canada to entertain at several events and was invited to entertain at a week-​long corporate event in the Bahamas. Alan is one of the top recommended DJ’s for many of the independent wedding coordinators, as well as the Four Seasons Resorts on Maui and Lanai, Grand Wailea Resort, Hyatt Regency Maui, and Ritz Carlton at Kapalua. Alan has entertained at corporate events for many of the top Fortune 500 companies.
