Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Horrible experience. The manager called me and blamed me for hail damage to the roof. I explained that we never reviewed the roof and I don’t know how they could blame me for such inconsequential damage.
The Area manager called to reiterate my fault and would not listen to me and yelled that an act of nature is my fault.
He said they would have to take it in to be fixed. I told him that there were two documented dents and a scratch on the vehicle that was not fixed but you are sending the vehicle in for a dent smaller than a dime on the roof that I didn’t cause.
He said he didn’t care and was going to send it to be fixed.
I refused to take responsibility and wrote a dispute note.
Do not rent from enterprise!
It’s an insurance scam. If you don’t get insurance they go out of their way to find a scratch even when you get the vehicle with multiple scrapes.
I will never rent from enterprise.
Lastly the area manager says he will send me to collections if I didn’t pay. Keep in mind the vehicle wasn’t even sent for an assessment of damage.
Horrible customer service! horrible .
Don’t rent if you don’t want to be sent to collections.

Don’t let the 800 number stop you from connecting directly to this location. Nina could not have been more helpful, more friendly or more professional. It was by far one of the most smooth transactions (less than 10 min to get me checked in and back rolling). As I told my wife on the way home, Nina picked me up and hooked me up with a sweet Tahoe. These are my go-​to-​guys for rentals when I have to rent near the office.

Scam artists. Unreliable. District manager is rude and uncooperative. Go somewhere else.

Not only unhelpful, rude and extremely stubborn it took only 10 minutes on the phone to enterprise corporate to figure out I was right. Military can rent cars on expired licenses as long as their state allows an extension. I will never come back, no one else should either. To Alex I don’t why you think your the supreme ruler of enterprise and I know things that are new are scary and if you don’t know its easier to say no but come on. Thanks for making my short leave to see family even shorter its not like I haven’t seen them in a year, oh wait.

Another great trip with Enterprise
Same car we always get, it arrived a little late they were very apologetic and very friendly car was clean and ready to go within 5 minutes of its arrival with a great trip dropped off Monday with no problems at all all in all just another great trip with enterprise

I made my reservation weeks in advance and requested a compact car — they called the day before to verify my registration and I let them know I would see them promptly at my appointment time. I arrived a few minutes early, they had 2 younger guys working and they seemed overly busy for helping one other customer.
I checked in and the guy was nice enough — he took my info and said he just had to get the car ready, so I sat expecting to wait about 5 minutes … a little over a half hour later he comes back in and says the car is ready. We walk out and the car is freshly washed so I assume he detailed it while I was waiting? Great that the car was clean but when I have a reservation I expect to be able to pick up my car and go, not wait that long with no explanation, reasoning, or apology.
Per the usual, he tried to pressure me into having them ‘take care of the gas’ and to get the insurance — I get it, thats their pitch but its still annoying.
The car was nice, a brand new Hyundai Elantra with all the bells and whistles — after driving it, I wasn’t a fan but you can’t hold that against Enterprise — I can however hold it against them that they rent cars with no gas in them. My car had less than ¼ of a tank. A) the first thing I want to do after waiting this long for my car is start my trip, NOT stop for gas and B) its nearly impossible to ‘match the gas’ at the end of your trip when you do that to people. Maybe asking for a full tank of gas is too much to ask but if I waited 30 minutes for them to detail the car the least they could do is fill it up rather than creating more of an inconvenience.
If I need a car, I’ll probably go back because the location is ideal and pricing is decent, but I’ll go in with low expectations and make my reservation earlier so I have enough time moving forward.

UPDATE: I wanted to edit this review to give you the «rest of the story». I contacted Enterprise as they requested below, and I provided them all my rental information. The regional office called me to apologize for the mistake and to let me know they were refunding the additional day I was charged! They took quick action to correct their mistake, which I greatly appreciate. They just need to do more training at the local rental office to have them also understand the situation. Glad to see a company that really cares and takes the extra effort to do what is right — so I’ve update my rating to reflect my new opinion of them — and will gladly rent from them again.
I reserved my vehicle online for two days, and showed up on Friday afternoon to pick up the vehicle. Ashley helped me take care of the rental details, and I advised her that I would return the car on Sunday morning. She said that is no problem even though they are closed — just return the car and drop the keys in the after hours box. Too bad she didn’t mention that they would charge an extra day since they were closed! The paperwork she gave me showed only two days worth of charges, and returning the car on Sunday. So imagine my surprise when the charges hit my credit card for an extra day! I gave her a chance to correct it, but she only quoted me company policy and said there is nothing that I could do to change it. She also said that there is no one else I can talk to — I just have to accept the charges. This is a very deceptive business practice, and a minimum, the paperwork should have shown three days of charges. I’m out an extra $ 100 — really not a good way to run a business — I will not use them again.

Fabulous service, great car! They went the extra mile to retrieve a CD I left in the car. A perfect 10.

I would love to give this place a ⁵⁄₅ for customer service, because all the associates we worked with were very friendly and completed our check-​in and check-​out very quickly. However, I made a reservation with them almost 3 months in advance because we were renting a car to drive to Florida for a wedding. I requested a compact car because I drive a Toyota Yaris, and am very comfortable with it. When we got to this Enterprise location, they had only three cars in the lot to choose from. One, a Hyundai Sonata, had expired plates, so we couldn’t take it. The only compact car they had didn’t have cruise control (or at least the guy said that he could tell it didn’t have cruise control just by looking at the rims, which made no sense to me but I didn’t question it). So we got stuck with a Chevy Malibu, which I absolutely hated. I do NOT recommend this location based on the car selection and availability. Very disappointing.
