C&D Cups Gourmet Coffee

Short lunch today and me and a friend wanted to grab a hot cup of anything so I suggested to come here. Pulled up and bam! No not big cachas they were closed. According to Unilocal and Google they’re open today but I guess you can’t believe everything on the internet.

I pulled up to this coffee shack thinking of getting something different. There was nothing different on the menu. So after asking the woman working if they had any special drinks like a snickers latte or something of the sort, she really had no idea what I was talking about. I decided to go with a regular coffee. The coffee wasn’t that great, I’ve had better coffee from a gas station believe it or not. Not going back.

This morning I decided, after going to the DMV, that I wanted a coffee. Not just any coffee but the seediest coffee Killeen had to offer. Situated on a parking lot between a plasma donation bank and an adult boutique, this purple island shack tempts would be patrons with its horribly photoshopped banner of scantily clad women holding cups of coffee at breast level. I couldn’t just drive by this strip club Starbucks without trying it out.
I ordered an iced mocha. This is my favorite drink at Starbucks so I decided to give it a try here. The cup I was given could hardly be called an iced mocha, perhaps something closer to hot chocolate with some ice cubes and a packet of sugar. Perhaps I should be grateful that’s all I got and not glitter or a nipple pasty.
The service was nice. The girl was, well to be fair to the city of killeen, one of its own you could say. She looked like the product of a one night stand between a young Private and a bar fly circa 1994.
This was everything I thought it would be.

Quite surprised with this venue! At first glance, you would think that this little 12×15 purple shack looking structure would be just another home in the hole place. Nope!
The coffee is superb, the muffins (strawberry) are kinda so-​so, and the barista service? Well, (smirking), it’s good but I see why this venue stresses their brand of «cups.» If there was a Hooter’s brand that has a niche market in selling coffee, it would be this store! Just use your imagination (the barista is hotter than the coffee). Like Forrest Gump would say, «that’s about all I’m gonna say about that.»
But no, I do like this place and plan on returning. Quite a bit of seating in the rear of the building (maybe 10 – 12 chairs) and of course, a drive thru. Hours are limited due to closing at 2 pm.

I do like it here. Hooters meets Starbucks. The coffee is good and the chorizo breakfast burrito is phenomenal. The servers a very friendly too. It is out of my way to work but I make it there when I can to start the day off right.

This is a great place. They have superb coffee. I have had just a plain coffee as well as cappuccinos. They make great frappes according to my teenage daughter. My son and I also enjoy the smoothies. The service is always friendly. The cosplay makes it an interesting stop. Did I mention the perfect cup of coffee?
