History

Established in 1995.

The history of this business is a sign of the times. We were selling rims & tire packages before the pimp my rides, and all that stuff came out. Before people started calling rims DUBS or cars lifted and called DONKS. 17 inch rims were the really big rims back then, now you can’t even buy 17 inch rims for some vehicles. Stock rims were 13 thru 16 inch when we started. Now stock rims start at 15 inch and go up to 22 from factory. All the while, we have been doing this rim thing for a long while. Cat customs was on the corner of 8^th & rancier for many years and now has relocated to 205 W. Rancier in the college park shopping center on the corner of College & Rancier. Across the street from Jack-​in-​the-​box on Rancier. Business Owner

The owner is a Killeen native. Born and raised here, I have seen this city go from a town without a mall to what it is today. I am a veteran of the army as well. At one time long ago, I was the NCOIC of the Emergency Department of DACH (Darnell Community Hospital) on Ft. Hood, Tx. I have also coached at all the various age groups for the surrounding community in many differant sports. Foorball, basketball, and swimming have been a mainstay for me to stay connected to the kids of the community. I have also done many car shows promoting and highlighting our kids accomplishments and rewarding some of them with scholarships to various colleges and trade schools. The kids know me as Coach Chuck. I am telling you all of this with this in mind, I live here, I do business here, and I am grounded here. To do business with me is to do business with a plan and a purpose. Anybody can sell you products, Cat Customs is a place that will be here when your kids need to «pimp their rides».
