Meet the Business Owner

Dan Corbin D.

Business Owner

Dan Corbin was born and raised on a dairy and hog farm in northwestern Illinois. In high school, he served as class president and president of the student council. After graduating from high school, he joined the Army Security Agency and attended basic training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. After completing 6 months of Spanish Language Studies at the Defense Language Institute (DLI) at the Presidio of Monterey, California, Corbin worked as a Spanish Linguist in the Panama Canal Zone achieving the rank of Specialist Five.

Corbin then attended Engineer Officer Candidate School at Fort Belvoir, Virginia, graduating second in his class and receiving a commission in Military Intelligence. After attending 8 months of Vietnamese Language School at DLI in El Paso, Texas, Jungle Expert training in the Panama Canal Zone and several military intelligence schools, Corbin served a tour in Viet Nam working in the G-​2 section of the 101^st Airborne Division.
