Shin tatooed my eyebrows and they look great! She has a wonderful gift. She was always making sure I was comfortable throughout the process. I’m contemplating eyeliner next. All I can say is WOW!

Got the deep tissue massage and signature facial and absolutely loved the service. Will definitely come back.

It was my first visit here to get myself Brazilian waxing and Shin worked on me so great. Reasonable price also. I definitely recommend this place for waxing. I will try other services such as hair, nail next time.

If you’re looking for the right place to get a Brazilian, this is it! I moved from California to Killeen & I had been searching for a while. I made an appointment and was scheduled to get my waxing done by Shin. She’s the best! She’ll make you feel really comfortable and make the whole process a bearable one! Trust me ladies you know what I’m talking about. She’s a professional at what she does and definitely knows what she’s doing. I would recommend her to anyone!

Roxanne was able to get me in the same day I called. My hair was dry and damaged so I was in desperate need for a haircut. She did an amazing job and was so nice. I would recommend for anyone to go see her.

Today was my second visit to Highlights but this time I got a 60 minute Swedish massage (the first time I got a haircut). And it was another amazing experience! Shasta is very professional, made me feel very comfortable, and she allowed me to customize the pressure. The environment of the massage area is super relaxing, clean, and comfy. My massage was only $ 65 plus tip which is a lot less expensive than the other massages I’ve gotten at other spas and it was a wonderful experience well worth my money. I absolutely cannot stop raving about this place! I will definitely be back again! Also, I called at 11:15 am to book a same day appointment and they were able to take me in at 1:45 pm!

It took me weeks to find a place that does permanent make up. Walked into this place and got welcomed in with smiles. Mrs. Shin is great at her work and I highly recommend her. What more can you ask for great prices the sweetest staff all in one.

I read the reviews before booking my appts there, i haven’t touch my hair since 6 months ago and had a lot of split ends and dry ends, i forgot her name, but she was pretty nice and know whats shes doing. she had gave me suggestions about my next visit to the hair salon, like what to tell the stylist and what i need to do with my hair on a weekly basis. i love the result and will definitely go back and recommend my friends to go.

Let me start off by saying I have been going to Highlights for over a year and a half now. Why? Because the have always done great color and treated me well. I typically do not like to give bad reviews and usually choose to only review places I really like (I like to keep the good karma flowing). However, I just cannot let my past experience go without commenting.
I went in this past week and got my usual partial highlight and cut. Everything seemed fine although I was charged $ 5 more than usual — I felt weird questioning it so just went ahead and paid. Now comes the bad part… While the color of my hair is good, the placement of my highlights is not. My partial highlight doesn’t even extend to my crown. When my hair is parted, the crown looks AWFUL. What I don’t understand is how I am a regular who has been getting the same color done for a while now, yet this time my hair took over 3 hours to complete and the highlights are literally only on the top of my head? It is my understanding a partial highlight should extend from the top of the ear around to the other ear. It appears I will be finding a new hairstylist very soon. I will miss how nice she was, however.

I did an extensive internet and Unilocal search before deciding to come here. I’m talking 2 days worth of comparing salons and I am extremely happy with the results. I left a message to schedule an appointment since I was out and about and they called me back as soon as they opened, which is a huge plus! I met with Arianna. I hadn’t cut my hair in almost 3 years because of multiple bad experiences and extremely botched jobs so I was a little nervous. But before she even put the apron thing on me, she asked me what I wanted and made suggestions of her own. Another plus! She was very friendly, but not overly talkative. Another plus! And when she was done, she asked me how I would be wearing my hair and gave me tips on how to maintain it no matter how I decided to style it. She even showed me so I wasn’t confused. Huge plus. She then showed me the products she liked to use and compared it to products I had tried in the past and put some in my hair so I could feel and see the difference. Plus plus plus! After 3 years, 12 inches of hair is gone! And I could not be happier. I will definitely be back!

My wife just recently moved here and was worried that she wouldn’t be able to find a quality hair salon in the area. She did her research and found this place. She got her haircut here and it looks really really good. It wasn’t to expensive for a great haircut and it boosted her self confidence and she recommends it to anyone in the area !!! 5 stars hands down

Today was my first visit to this salon. The staff is extremely professional and helpful. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. It wasn’t loud and I really felt like it was just me and my stylist at times, although there were others there holding their own conversations. I had Samantha as my stylist and she is AWESOME. She listened to what I wanted and gave me some tips. My hair turned out perfectly. I will definitely come back to see her! I love this place!

Julie Cole & her team are top notch. I always trusted Julie with my hair when I was here 14 years ago (even came special for a fix after a disastrous bad hair experience in Europe) so I was thrilled to see her still in the area with a thriving business when I was stationed here again! I highly recommend you check out this salon & spa.

I came in to get blonde highlights after a disastrous highlight job at ulta. I came in to see Samantha. She did amazing!!! I was so happy with the color. I will be coming here now for color and a cut.

Samantha was amazing! I’ve been all over and nobody could make me blonde. For some reason it was just impossible, but she not only made me blonde, but the perfect color of blonde! I definitely recommend her.

My husband gave me a gift certificate here for my birthday. I made an appointment and they were very accommodating. I received an awesome facial, eye brow waxing, and nail service from Shin. She is the sweetest, and great at what she does! I also got a full body massage (from Carolyn) and it was the most relaxing hour of my life. I will totally go back!!!

THANK GOD i found this place when the hubby was coming home earlier than expected. I was a first time customer but Roxanne fit me in her schedule the next day. I basically told her the basics of how I wanted my hair done. she added what she thought would look good and I was definitely amazed of how my hair turned out. I came back a couple days later and got my eyebrows waxed. walked in and got Shin who saved my eyebrows since I tried to do it myself. 45.00 for hair and 12.00 for brows. I am definitely going back.

This was not my normal salon, but I received a gift certificate for a spa package here as a gift. Due to circumstances, I could not do a spa day, but the salon let me use my certificate for cut, color, and a pedicure. Very accomodating!
Mary-​Christina Sifuentes was my stylist. Don’t let her young face fool you, this girl knows how to do hair! The cut was perfect and my full head of highlights looks amazing. I walked out looking like a different person, which was exactly what I wanted. I am leaving Killeen soon, but if I wasn’t, Mary-​Christina would be my new girl, for sure! Such a talented, sweet stylist. :)

Can call and get last minute appts. I love this place. Katie is my favorite hair stylist. I got my hair cut and after a day I realized it was to long for work. She let me come back to cut it shorter free of charge. She was very good at her job and wanted me to be happy. This is the only salon I go to.

Called the salon last minute for a root touch up. Got an appointment after hours, eventhough I was a first time customer. Roxanne spent about 3 hours working magic on my hair. She got me platinum blonde like I asked, listened to all of the requests I made & really took the time to make sure my hair was perfect! Very impressed with the work & the reasonable pricing.
