History
Established in 1994.
In 1994, Jeannette lived and worked in Lambertville, NJ, with the PeaceWeavers a non profit peace community dedicated to working with elders of different traditions, one of whom was a Buddhist monk named Bhante Dharmawara. Bhante was 104 years of age when he came to stay with the PeaceWeavers to recover from an illness and insisted on getting colon hydrotherapy. Because he was too weak to transport, Jeannette began colon hydrotherapy training to be able to take care of Bhante’s colonics leading her on a new career path.
Having moved to the Phoenixville area in 2000, Jeannette soon established the Art of Health, which is located above Kimberton Whole Foods in Kimberton. Expanding the services she offered as she expanded her knowledge, experience and training: Nutritional Coaching, Cleanse Coaching and Colon Hydrotherapy Training.

Jeannette P.
Business Owner
Jeannette is an I-Act & National Board Certified Colon Hydro-therapist, Instructor of Colon Hydrotherapy and a Certified Nutritional Counselor.
Over 15 years ago, she became a colon hydro-therapist while caring for an old Buddhist monk, Bhante Dharmawara, who insisted colon cleansing was essential for vital health and longevity. Bhante lived to be 110 years of age.
She moved from Lambertville, NJ to Chester County, Pennsylvania and opened the Art of Health and the AoH School of Colon Hydrotherapy, where she has been educating people about the wonders of the digestive system, the ease and fun of whole foods cooking and that healthy living is an art that can be easy and fun!
With over 15 years of experience, Jeannette developed the Gentle Heart Approach, as she has found that «gentle and slow» allows for the client to relax and release with ease and comfort.
The Art of Health Staff are Certified Colon Hydro-therapists, highly trained in the Gentle Heart Approach.
