Cafe Amore

This is a great place to get lunch if you’re living or working in the towers. I find all the employees to be extremely nice. Despite other reviews on here I have always find the food to be good and well prepared. I’ll continue getting lunch from here.

I’ve been a customer since 2012, when I started working at a technology company that owns a few office suites in the towers. At that time, there were different owners operating the deli (Valley Forge Towers Café) who were pleasant and flexible with menu options. There is a new owner now, who renamed the business to Café Amore. The quality of the food has declined significantly, making the only benefit for me that I do not have to leave the building to buy lunch. I used to really enjoy going here for lunch and was sure that I could find something that I’d enjoy. The past 4 meals I’ve had there in the past few months have been nothing but a disappointment. Portion sizes are smaller, prices are higher, and the food tastes so-​so.
From now on, I’ll drive to get lunch somewhere else. It’s not worth my frustration.

I’ve lived in the Towers for several years now. Café Amore opened this past Spring, replacing the Valley Forge Towers Café. I was told that along with the new name, it also has new owners.
I visited last week around 1 PM, with two others who reside here as well. All 3 of us were very hungry.
When I attempted to order breakfast, I was informed that breakfast now ends at 12 Noon or 12:30, due to the «lunch crowd.» I looked around, and not a single person was in the dining room! They had no customers. What lunch crowd was this lady talking about?
I conferred with the other 2 adults, and we all decided to go somewhere else that was willing to crack an egg after 12 Noon. Thankfully, there’s a diner less than 10 minutes away that was happy to serve us.
I was a big fan of the Towers Café & often had breakfast there; sometimes before 12 Noon, and sometimes after 12 Noon. It’s a shame the 3 of us won’t be returning to Café Amore.
