Been here a few times looking for various things and have had really poor customer service. On one occasion I walked in where 3 – 4 associates were at the storefront and not one of them acknowledged me. Trying to find someone to help you here is a challenge. Once you find someone good luck if they respect you. Most people here have just talked down to me. Seems like if you’re not a WASP they want nothing to do with you in here. On one occasion I really wanted a desk which would not be available for several months. The woman treated me like I was just hopeless while she cackled with other associates and told me to go to IKEA. Don’t waste you’re time going I here.

Told 11 – 13 weeks for furniture to arrive. Now going on 14 and scheduled for delivery end of 15th week. Not too bad, but not great. It seems C&B is dependent on their vendors’ schedules and the vendors fall behind. My salesman was great – but C&B should do something about the vendor deliveries.

Don’t expect your furniture any time soon. I placed an order in early september and was told that there was a 8 – 10 week time for delivery on our furniture. We asked again because we had heard some stuff about shipping times not being accurate, but we were then assured that we would have our furniture by our sale associate. We were a little concerned but figured we would have 12 weeks until we really needed our sofa so why no go with them. Well we just got word that our furniture will not be arriving until January 16th. 18 weeks after we placed the order. How is this even acceptable? I asked why this is the case and it’s because it’s a custom order, i let my sales associate know that, she knew that at the time of the order. She then went on about how the 8 – 10 weeks is the estimated time for the furniture to get to the warehouse, from there it needs to be packaged and shipped. This is exactly why we asked twice when we ordered the furniture, yet here this sales associate was telling that there must have been a misunderstanding. There certainly was no misunderstanding, when we specifically ask when will we HAVE the furniture. The furniture being in a warehouse is not us HAVING the furniture. And good luck if you don’t live directly next to the warehouse because they apparently only do shipping twice a month in our area. Absolutely horrible experience.

I recently attended a wedding registry event at this C&B location and really enjoyed it. I couldn’t make the initial date I was scheduled for and the young lady who answered the phone was friendly when I called to reschedule. I even received a confirmation email from a young lady named Dawn. They recommend that iPhone users download their app, which made scanning items a breeze right from my phone. Light refreshments and a gift bag were provided. They also entered registrants into a drawing for a big ticket kitchen item. Best of all, the store was closed to the public and registrants got the friendly and helpful employees and the store all to ourselves. 5⁄5

I had a terrible customer service issues. I wanted to swap out something that was defective for the same thing. And they said they couldn’t because I didn’t have proof that I got it there even though they had the same container. The Container Store will exchange for the same item if it’s defective without making you feel like a jerk. Congrats C&B, all my business is not going to The Container Store!

I had a $ 25 gift card burning a hole in my pocket and there were a ton of sales going on, so I headed over to the KoP Crate and Barrel when I had a few minutes to spare on a Friday afternoon. The shape of the store is rather unique and triangular, and it somehow felt larger than it was. As usual, clean lines and great products were the order of the day and I walked out with a set of 12 stemless stemware pieces(plus, they were on sale, so I spent like $ 6 – hah). Tony, the floor assistant who rang me up and found me an extra two glasses when I cleared the shelf, was super-helpful and friendly when I made my purchase. He put everything into a box for me and attached a handle so I could carry it more easily. A+ on the customer service.
