Very disappointing customer service here. Seems like the employees are too busy running around restocking shelves to actually assist customers. Looks like the issue is poor management. I prefer clothing stores that focus more on customer service than stocking shelves.

I had a great experience with Ellen today. I had a defective pair of shorts and she helped me get a replacement without a hassle at all. I wish more J. Crew employees were as calm as collected as she was. Usually, they look like they’re on the verge of an anxiety attack.

I love J. Crew clothing and often shop there, however my experience at the King of Prussia location left much to be desired. I was«helped» in the fitting room by a very rude and judge-y employee who seemed to not have time for me as she was too busy assisting«certain» customers. I let the manager know and he did not seemed interested in my complaint. For obvious reasons I chose to leave my intended purchases behind; I will NOT be returning.

J Crew’s wedding shop is pretty fantastic — dresses come in a variety of cuts, fabrics, lengths, and colors that are modern and design-y without being too of-the-moment(read: no poufy sleeves of the 80s). The KOP J Crew is also one of a select few to carry wedding and bridal dresses in store. Typically, due to high demand, this store requires you to book about a month in advance, but my gal pals and I lucked out and were able to join a group wedding event with less than 7 days notice. We showed up right on time and were seen immediately by Theresa. She had the three dresses we were interested in — Arabelle, Nadia, and Heidi — pulled and ready for us in two separate fitting rooms. My girlfriends are über slender, sizes 0 and 2, and were able to try on each of the dresses in the correct size(WAY impressive). They even had some petite sizes(recommended for ladies 5′-2″ and under). Theresa also pulled two dresses in the colors we were interested in — making the choice between misty rose and bright coral even easier. Word to the wise — the misty rose is really pretty, but may be too light to flatter most skin tones. After less than 30 minutes, we were able to make a decision and order the dresses. We were told it would be a 4 – 6 day lead time, with free returns up until the wedding to boot! Unfortunately the ordering process wasn’t as easy as the fitting. My two bridesmaids filled out separate order forms, but their dress sizes were mixed up. They received a small discount for the inconvenience, but it’s up to them to return the dresses to their local store, or pay to return them via snail mail. Even with the mixup I’d highly recommend scheduling an appointment — just be sure to double check the order confirmation forms.

Love Jcrew. This location is a great size and has lots of size options. Only downside is that some staff is VERY snobby. If I’m not dressed that nice I get ignored. Also at times when I go right to the sale section they also ignore me. I do have great things to say about their wedding department. I got my wedding dress here and have purchased several bridesmaid dresses. All positive experiences and I love the dresses.

Honestly, it’s a little uncomfortable going into Jcrew stores… I’ve found the salespeople to be judgie or something… It’s hit or miss in this store. Sometimes, they have someone at the front of the store, tending to clothing and greeting people and sometimes not… Doesn’t matter much to me though. But the fitting rooms are always empty. No attendants. And most of the salespeople congregate behind the register. Doing nothing but talking and ignoring customers. What is this? Junior high? But sometimes, they act busy and are running around, putting clothes away and remember to warmly welcome you and ask you if you need any help. I guess, it depends on the day… Aside from all that, I generally love Jcrew fashion so I always come back(or at least order online). And don’t forget about the 15% student discount! It’s always a sale for students: P

Prices are high, but the service is awesome. Sales people know their stuff. Very helpful if you are looking for a specific item. J Crew has a lot of things that are exclusive to J Crew but made by other companies. I like a pair of navy sperrys they have there. Cool ties and items for men who know how to dress well. Awesome store, I wish I could afford more! Keep in mind 15% teacher discount!!!

Came here to try on wedding dresses. Michelle, their wedding consultant, is really fantastic. Hands down the best wedding consultant I met with. She opened the store early for me and my mother-in-law so that we could see the dresses while I was in town. She is really knowledgeable and offers valuable advice whenever you ask. She will tell you what looks good and what doesn’t, and is a sash maestro. She didn’t pressure me at all, but showed me a huge variety of dresses so that I could define my style. The dresses are really high quality, very comfortable, and totally gorgeous. I ultimately went with another dress, but the JCrew dresses were a super close second, largely because of Michelle and her excellent service.

I’m a bit of a J. Crew addict who patronizes all locations in and around Philadelphia. That said, the King of Prussia store has the worst customer service in the area. I don’t usually write reviews and probably wouldn’t even bother if i’d had only one negative experience. 1) There is hardly ever a greeter in place 2) The staff is constantly folding and not helping customers. I understand that the store must be neat, but there is a balance. The staff is always talking amongst themselves. They look busy, but it is hard to actually find someone speaking to a customer. 3) The fitting room never has an attendant in place. If you have a large pile to try, you must find someone to open the door for you and the ten other people waiting. If you are like me, this is not always easy to do considering you’re probably holding so many items that it feels as though your arms are going to fall off. 4) WORSTOFALL, I’ve heard staff members use their headsets to gossip about CUSTOMERS that are still in the store. Completely unprofessional. There is more, but the bottom line is that there is underlying attitude in this store. Customers don’t matter. If I am trying to spend money that helps to pay your salary, you could at least be pleasant. I don’t need(or enjoy) someone falling all over themselves to help me as it makes me uncomfortable, but at least acknowledge my presence and OPENTHEFITTINGROOMDOOR!

The only reason this store is so great is because of their amazing personal shoppers! Girl named Kate helped me and she couldn’t have been nicer and more knowledgeable of what they had to offer for me.
