Drove over to this place because I called around first to get prices. They were the cheapest by almost $ 60 for tag/​title work. When I got there, did all of the paperwork, they ended up being more than most places around. I even asked the girl on the phone if her price of $ 108 included everything, she said «yes, except for tax on the purchase price of the vehicle». The vehicle was a gift, so there was no tax. Total was almost $ 190. Smooth transaction otherwise. Might as well go to the place down the street from my house next time.

As I’m reading the other reviews of Jacoby’s, I can’t help but think that these people were paid to write a false review.
My experience was quite different. The guy that I dealt with was rude and had zero personality. Worse, he quoted me a price of 170 over the phone, but charged me 200 in person.
In addition, they whack you an additional $ 7 to use a credit card.
Summary: this place is a joke. Go elsewhere.

Quick and efficient, fantastic customer service. No reason to go anywhere else for tags!
My family just relocated to the state and needed to get PA plates. This is the first time we have lived in a state where you can’t get your tags at the same location where you obtain a driver’s license. Having a toddler makes all of these «moving errands» so much more of a hassle so we could not believe how quickly and easily we were able to do this through Jacoby’s. A young lady helped us (I wish I had gotten her name) and my husband and I both walked out with our PA plates in about 20 minutes. We truly appreciate the friendliness and wonderful customer service. We will also be recommending Jacoby’s to all my husband’s coworkers who have recently relocated as well!

I went back here today to get a duplicate, clear title on my car, and service was just as expected. The guy was friendly, efficient and got what I needed done. I appreciate the professionalism of the people here and as I said before… I will DEFINITELY come back here for anything PennDOT related!!!
