I ordered an orchid from Burgevine for a friend in April. It is gorgeous & she loves it. In June I attempted to send her another orchid, I placed the order & was charged, but my friend never received the plant. After numerous phone calls to Burgevine Florist, being assured each time the orchid would be send, my friend never got an orchid. After a week when I asked her once again if she received flowers, she said«Tell them to give you your money back. «as she had not received anything from them. I did so and several days later they credited my account. Their products are lovely & I wish I could say otherwise, but sad to say this was a very unpleasant experience.

I am disappointed with this florist. I have ordered from them on occasion, and the quality is too hit-or-miss for me. I have had to return my bouquets a few times this month, and I have now given up on ordering from them again. I had placed an order for a bouquet and they did not send me what I had ordered(size or color), and the quality of the flowers was poor(thin stems, and looked like what you’d find in a supermarket). This was after I had told two of the staff there TWICE exactly what I wanted, but they still did not send me what I paid for. Then they apologized and told me that the flowers«had been sitting in the refrigerator for a while» and told me AFTERSENDING the arrangement they did not have the correct size for half of the order, but they would send me another bouquet from a new floral shipment. I wish they had offered all of THAT information to me from the start, rather than deliver what they knew I did not ask for! The bouquet they had initially sent me had begun to die the day after delivery. A few days later, they again delivered another incorrect order of flowers to me for the second time. Something similar had happened there to my wife 2 years ago. She had bought a bouquet there and it was a poor quality bouquet with skinny looking stems and was starting to die in less than a week. She told them the same day of purchase and they made her go in for a replacement, rather than send someone over for her convenience. If you choose to get your flowers here, make sure you go in and see if you like them and just buy them on the spot if you like them. I personally will not order from there anymore and I cannot in good faith recommend people to order from there. There are other florists who don’t have these problems, and I have found one florist in High Falls that NEVER disappoints, so I will only go with them from now on.
