History

Established in 1993.

Luminary Publishing and Chronogram were founded in 1993 by New Paltz, NY natives Jason Stern and Amara Projansky. The publication started in a garage and grew to over 25 employees in a few years with the launch of Upstate House magazine in 2003. The company expanded to become a full service custom publisher for the Hudson Valley in 2007.
