Meet the Business Owner

Jim D.

Business Owner

Jim Dooley was born in 1971 in West Babylon, Long Island. He started playing drums in 4^th grade at the age of 9. Jim was strongly influenced by the eclectic new wave and punk scene of the early eighties and developed an interest in many styles of drumming and musical genres. Attending a visual and performing arts camp as a teenager, Jim had many opportunities to hone his drumming skills and perform.

In the mid to late eighties, Jim performed with bands such as iMind and the Goon Squad, but his passion was on composing his own music. Thus, in the early to mid 90’s his focus turned to composing, audio engineering and recording his first album. At this time, Jim began incorporating other instruments into his repertoire such as guitar, bass, and keyboard.
